Your mentality suggests that you're trying to pass the blame off on something external. The moment you decide to take control of your own life and stop seeing your appearance as the sole reason you're not able to get women is the day you will have taken one giant leap forward! Women don't need someone who is outrageously good looking. They need a man who has confidence in himself, who he is, and what he does. Someone who can take full responsibility of everything in his life, and has a positive …

That's EXACTLY what you should be doing! No sense in buying it all new when you can just keep adding things here and there as you continue to refine :) Saves a loooooot of money too. For $350, I definitely think you could buy a Spring/Summer wardrobe! The good thing about buying things for Spring is that it can also be used again in the Fall! Things like sweaters and light(er) jackets should be seen as investments, as you'll be able to rep them again 4 months down the road :) Also, here's a secr…

I think that fashion is important because it immediately lets strangers know the level of investment you have in yourself. Looking good and dressing well doesn't happen overnight. It requires time, effort, finances, and refinement. If women are saying that you have a basic wardrobe, it pretty much means that your style isn't bad but it doesn't differentiate you from the millions of other average-joe dressers. It means that you have a base, but it requires more refining. Your style doesn't show a…

That's a great mindset to have :) Even if it's for closure, at least you're doing it for yourself! You will perform even greater things yet, I know it. That sounds like a perfectly fine message to me! It's polite and straight to the point. Good luck :)

If you're planning on seeing another girl, then I'm also going to assume that you won't feel too butthurt if things didn't pan out with the first lady that you had relations with. That being said, the fact that you're going through an internal struggle with her means that you still care about her and want to see where things go! There's nothing wrong with a double-text as long as you're aligning it with the right intention. Usually people on seddit say not to double-text because it shows that yo…

The more I think about it, the more it appears that the solution lies somewhere in the middle of both ends of the spectrum. Seddit has always had a "text=logistics" mentality, but as you said, it's getting out of touch. In my experience, texting and/or Snapchat game shouldn't consume a lot of your time, but it really gives you AND the woman a chance to figure each other out. Especially if the woman is younger, like early to mid-20's. It's part of the young-adult culture that texting and Snapchat…

You're not pretending to be somebody you're not, but it sounds like your thoughts are becoming your worst enemy in the end. Don't lower your standards, improve yourself to raise yourself to those standards! Everyone who starts out doing anything SUCKS at it. You need to change the way you define your successes in terms of women, and perhaps some key areas of your life. Don't think, "I need to get laid tonight/take someone home", that's creating an expectation that will only lower your confidence…

Put yourself in her situation. If you started to pull back and start distancing yourself from your girlfriend (for whatever reason, maybe you feel like you need more time for yourself to decompress), would you want her to start picking up other dudes, come at you aggressively, or do anything of the sort to harm the relationship? No. You mentioned "girlfriend" so I'm assuming you've already gone through the chase, the dates, etc etc. It's not pickup strategies or anything that you need now, relat…

No, dude. If a woman tells you she has a boyfriend, take it as her politely rejecting you. It doesn't matter if she actually has one or not, rejecting people doesn't feel good for anyone and there could be a million reasons why she would say no. Don't take it as a challenge to pursue her more, she already told you how interested in you she is. I don't think it sounds confident, it's more arrogant. It's like you're ignoring what she just told you because YOU think you're better. Very well could n…

I'm about 5'8! I really don't like using the 1-10 scale, but I'd say the brunette I dated was about a [7], while the red-headed/blue eyes ex was a [9]. Guys would openly hit on and try to get a date lined up with the redhead while I was out with her, while the brunette would tell me about guys in her class that would nervously try to strike up a conversation. So all in all, not bad. I mentioned the other guys just as a way of giving you a reference as to where they stand instead of just my own o…

Start thinking about who you're funny and goofy TO. With me, I found that I was usually only my true self when I was around my best friends. Once other people came into the mix, my demeanor would change. I wasn't consistent, and I would keep a lot of my thought/jokes in my head. Again, there are a lot of reasons as to why you're not as successful as you are. Attracting a mate means becoming the best and most well-rounded person you can be. Even if one your personality is fine, maybe it's the oth…

Chinese guy here! I've actually only ever had white girlfriends weirdly enough. One of the biggest advantages was being able to show them that I didn't just fall into your standard Asian stereotype-model even though I do! For example, I've participated in numerous martial arts, have played piano since I was a kid, and am getting my Master's in Electrical Engineering. But those are only small parts of my whole self. When I finally broke out of my quiet shell in high school, I really let my humour…

Fashion and style is something that I've always given a lot of time and focus toward. I didn't have to change much in that aspect since it was moreso my inner game that needed a huge overhaul

Thanks, friend :) Second: My doctor referred me to someone who actually used to help counsel him for a time! The referral was specifically for my high levels of anxiety, stress, and depression last Fall. At that point, I felt myself slowly losing control as I tried to crush out my final two semesters for my degree. My therapist has done extensive work with athletes, troubled children, and has had many years of experience in couple's/marriage + personal counselling. It's sort of hard to answer th…

There's a quote that goes, "Comparison is the thief of joy." It doesn't matter how well they're doing. The only thing you should focus and care about is becoming better than the person you were yesterday. That's it, that's all. Use that feeling of inadequacy as fuel to DO SOMETHING. In the end it's all up to you and the effort that you expend trying to be better. Your friends get girls easily? Then ask them questions, and pay attention to the way they interact with people, not just women. Once y…

Plainly put, of course there are stereotypes that fit better in society! Public media builds an "image" for men and women that many people try to aspire to despite some aspects being near-impossible, if not impossible. Here's the thing. "Being yourself" means knowing yourself, and having the discipline to create and follow your own set of values and/or rules. Both men and women are highly attracted to people who demonstrate passion and interest in what they do. The only way to achieve that sort …

I love this post. It resonates with something very important that I discovered recently. My friends and I went to this outdoor EDM festival last week in a different city, and I decided to not give any fucks about what happened, to live in the moment, and to simply have fun. I was laughing, smiling and dancing like crazy and what ended up happening was a bunch of people came to me to smile, to laugh, to talk, to dance! I was told by strangers about what an awesome person I was and that they enjoy…
