I was about to say, find people with hobbies alike. Even if they don't necessarily like you physically, sharing something you both like can be the spark to something nice. There are many cute girls who are into anime and gaming, many of them shy and maybe approachable by starting a convo about those hobbies. Good luck.

First step, don't see yourself as a "loser". There are some things that you would like to change, like not having a girlfriend or experience with them? Work on that. You will get better by practising, I assure you that. And don't let other people get to you much. Kids are very judgemental and it can wreck your future. Be yourself and try to be the best person you can. Good luck!

How much do you want to impress him on this first date? You think you might be very compatible for a relationship? You could write a letter explaining how it feels to be around him or share time, but who knows, might scare him off if it's just the first date.

In all honesty, if someone thinks this sub-reddit or anywhere on the internet for that matter is the source of all truth, they deserve what's coming to them. :P

Hey, horns. I can't really say I relate to this specific situation, but I'll tell you what I do when I can't enjoy the things I normally do: Change it up. Don't continue to try and force the joy into what you're doing, because it will just burn you out. Start doing something else you enjoy a lot. Long walks in nature, listening to music, sports, whatever it is that you also like. Give it a long rest before tackling it again. Try and see it from another perspective. If normal sex doesn't bring yo…

The way I would approach it is always more validation, always compliment. Remember that women are very self conscious of their physical appearance, and since the woman trusts you to see that vulnerable side, you should be grateful / show interest.

Hey, you don't have to hold your negative feelings in, and it's OK to have them. We're all humans and our emotions are valid. This idea that men cannot show weakness or vulnerability is dumb and dangerous, do not listen to that. When feeling down, do what really brings you joy. When you need someone, start testing your friends to check which if them is safe and nice to express yourself with. What I mean by this is some of them will tell you to just forget about it or that you're being weak. If t…

The longer you live, the more you realise people's opinions shouldn't matter that much in your life, only your true friends' advices. Also, people are less aware of other people than you might think. I believe it's called "the spotlight syndrome", where we think everyone around us is always paying attention to us, when in reality, other people got stuff to do and problems to focus on. They're not always waiting on your every action to judge (at least, the sane, non toxic ones). I hope this helps…

I do. I message women who I've never met before through IG and FB. I even tell them if I found them through Tinder. My message game is A+, but my IRL game is poor lol. I would say they respond 50% of the time and then only 10% of the time it goes well with chemistry, jokes, etc and it materialises.

I thought this post was going to tackle how people objectify others by ranking them in a numeral system, but then it went back to the same premise. I agree with just taking the decision of either be interested in someone and going for it or not. I'm not so into qualifying people on a numeral scale of looks/quality of dating (even when sometimes I do this too).

I don't understand the logic in this post. If we want someone back who "made us re-calibrate our ego in a painful way", this prooves we have "narcissistic tendencies"? This begins from the assumption that one was giving all the importance to themselves in the relationship, when relationships end for a variety of reasons. Also, someone narcissistic wouldn't want someone who defies their idea of themselves. All the contrary, they would want someone docile who admires them also. My two cents.

The logical steps before taking a long drive to meet someone should be to really know that person, or at least have a good idea of what you're getting into. Maybe everything seemed fine and dandy but somehow didn't work when they met? Shrug

Honestly, whoever drives 14 hours to meet someone without a call or video call first is a psychopath, lol (or extremely needy). But yes, I can see everyone eager to meet new people face to face once all this passes.

This is a first date mindset everyone should have! If the couple decide to get serious afterwards, then they should.

Even if you don't believe it yourself: "Fake it until you make it" with self-esteem and self-worth. Believe me, even after starting as jokes, you will eventually believe you're good enough to be liked, loved and everything in between.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
