You can’t claim that your “proof” is “personal interactions” because your personal interactions are no more valid than mine and anyone else’s. You can’t claim that your personal assertions are valid and others’ aren’t.

finding someone attractive and dehumanizing them are two completely different things. You’re either willfully ignorant or uneducated. Either way, go fix that.

Men have to shame one another for the size of their dicks because religion and if they don’t, families fall apart. Got it.

Attraction may not be negotiable for you you or other men, but as I stated previously, many women feel attraction and desire differently than most men do.

I’m not framing it as symmetry. Resources ≠ beauty

If women practice hypergamy for resources then men practice hypergamy for looks
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/21 03:52 PM

And y’all believe women treat men shorter than 6’2” like lepers when that’s objectively not true
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/21 03:50 PM

Yup. Men created the same issue with penis size, but based on these comments they sure as hell won’t take responsibility for that either.

You know women are individuals, real people each with their own thoughts, emotions, aspirations, fears, and desires and not just the fictional hive-mind caricature you’ve made up in your head, right? Really think about your answer. Do some genuine self-reflection on why you believe the things you do about women, about the women you respect and the ones you don’t, and why.

It’s not a myth, it’s a noted psychological phenomenon called (today commonly called The Madonna/Whore Complex) that can be found in art and literature made by men going back hundreds of years. I suggest reading some of the work Uwe Hartmann has published for a more in-depth analysis.

Men know that they can’t support the kid with themselves AND work to provide when the kid isn’t with them. divorcemag.com states 1/3 of children in sole-residential homes see their other parent at least once a month, 1/3 less than once a month (1/2 of that 1/3 less than once a year), and 1/3 never see their non-custodial parent. If the majority of men paying child support see their kids less than once a month, there’s no reason they can’t work to provide for their child just because of partial c…

It’s a complicated issue that’s already been broken down and analyzed by experts much more throughly than I can in a Reddit comment, but I’d say the jist of it is that our society views women as inherently more competent than men when it comes to homemaking and raising and caring for children (and inherently less competent than men in business and other professional fields), and more women ask for full custody of their children than men do. As a result, more women end up with full or primary cus…

all the men in the replies to this are already convinced that you wife is gonna run off and fuck another man, jesus christ no wonder they can’t land a date. Listen, women’s sexual desire is a different beast than men’s desire, not less than, just different. I suggest reading “Come As You Are” by Emily Nagoski. And sit down with your wife, talk to her, look at her the same way you did when you first turned and saw her walking down the aisle, speak to her like you did when you read your vows. Ther…

It’s an interesting juxtaposition, men say they desperately crave affection and want women to desire them, but if a woman “gives it up too easily”, they don’t respect her because she’s a whore. They want women to desire them… but demean the women who show them desire.

So let me get this straight. In my original comment, I stated that I, personally, am not disgusted by the thought of sex with an average looking man, but I am disgusted by the thought of sex with a misogynist who doesn’t value me as a person. In response, you’re trying to postulate that the “trend” is that “the opposite happens way more often” and your proof is your “life” and that’s valid argument because “the sample size statistically significant.” Do you understand how nonsensical that is? Half those descriptors apply to my ex (we broke up for reasons completely unrelated to his appearance, before you ask). He was relatively short for a guy (about 5’7”) was moderately overweight, had a round face, big lips, big eyes, all that. Granted, he didn’t have a high-pitched voice, but I genuinely could not care less about the pitch of a guy’s voice. Lord knows Id rather be with a soft-spoken man than a man who yells all the time. I actually like men who look a bit feminine/androgynous so that’s a plus for me, “shy” meaning, what, he has anxiety? a hard time opening up to new people? That’s not something I’m going to look down on him for. And the “3/10” means what? Acne, glasses, crooked teeth, etc? I don’t care. If he, like, doesn’t shower or brush his teeth, that’s definitely going to effect my perception of him, but those are behaviors that can be changed if he wants to change them. The percentage of men who leave/cheat after their wife is diagnosed with cancer is drastically higher than the percentage of women who leave or cheat if their husband is diagnosed with cancer. Men are also much more likely to cheat if their partner has a miscarriage. I think your ideology is incorrect.

y’all self-victimize entirely too much. if she has headphones in, is reading a book, or anything similar that coveys: “I don’t want to talk”, then don’t talk to her. /r/PurplePillDebate23/08/21 09:45 PM

Sir. Put your dirty socks in the hamper. It’s not back-breaking manual labor. It’s the bare minimum of being a grown-up. You’re being overly-dramatic.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/21 08:11 PM

I’ll never understand why some men think working full time AND contributing to upkeep the household is on par with asking for the moon and stars. Go to work, put your socks in the hamper instead of tossing them on the floor, offer to do the dishes if your partner cooked dinner, and if you have kids trade off picking them up from school. It’s not that hard.

A woman is not a object that depreciates in value, she’s a human being who’s value is inherent. If you lose respect for a woman because she ages or because of what she does for a living, that’s a reflection on you, not on her. Just because you don’t see a woman’s value doesn’t mean she has none.

I’m sorry you had to experience that. Men being drugged and raped by women is an extremely uncommon phenomenon, and your situation in which you would have had to pay child support is not the type of situation making up the vast majority of child support cases. The reason they gave men custody of their children historically was because a large number of women weren’t allowed to have their own bank account, let alone a job that paid enough to raise a family, where men have had that privilege. Okay you’re being willfully ignorant. If the girl was continuously flirting with random guys despite having no intention of dating them, and chose to continue to do so despite it upsetting her boyfriend, you wouldn’t blame the guys she’s flirting with, you’d blame her, not the guys she’s flirting with who don’t know she’s in a relationship. Honey do not mistake my self-confidence for a personal attack. The reason I don’t care about anyone’s judgement of me is because I love myself enough to know that their opinion of me holds no power. It’s not that I have a low opinion of men, is that I have an exceedingly high opinion of myself. If you mistake a woman’s self-love for hatred of men, that says a hell of a lot more about you then it does about me.

Accusing me of being a misandrist, once again, allows you to dismiss my perspective as a woman regarding what women actually desire in a long-term partner and blame your failures on others rather than taking responsibility. If you chose to not believe women when they tell you what they’re looking for in a long-term partner because you have convinced yourself that you, as a man, know women better than they know themselves, you’re a misogynist, and odds are you will continue to fail, and that’s no…

It honestly amazes me how many men insist they know what women want more than women do. It’s a bias rooted in misogyny, and gives a clear indication as to the real reasons why they actually can’t secure a relationship despite insisting they’re “doing everything right”. Exhausting.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/21 07:19 AM

so if it were up to you, you would have a high number of past sexual partners, and that’s okay and you would expect any woman you date to be okay with that, but her having a high number of past sexual partners would be unacceptable to you? that’s hypocritical. a woman’s value isn’t determined by her number of sexual partners, no one’s is.

Your external locus of control can be seen from space. It’s literally impossible to stop aging. No one can stay in perfect shape forever. Also, saying women just want to go on vacation to post pics on instagram is casting women as incredibly shallow. There are many men and women who want to travel so that they can experience new things, gain new perspective and grow as a person- not just for pics on insta. But what is shallow is only valuing someone for their looks.

adventure and excitement? what, like traveling to different places or trying new cuisines? That’s not a strictly female desire. Besides, wanting your partner to travel and try new thing with you isn’t on par with wanting your partner to stay young and fit forever. You can’t make the decision to stop aging, but you can make the decision to stop trying new things. The terms “white knight” and “simp” were originally used by women to describe desperate men on the internet trying to get attention from women by posturing as nice guys, but they were appropriated by men to describe literally any man that doesn’t treat women like garbage.

prostitution should be decriminalized for women only, in order to help keep trafficked and abused women out of jail. the johns, however, can stay getting arrested and rotting in prison.

the term “spinning many plates” means to multitask or have multiple projects going on at once. In this context, op is referring to the women he has in his rotation as “plates”.

After switching BC methods, so almost wound up in the hospital needing a blood transfusion because I bled so heavily for so long my iron levels plummeted. There are apps you can download that can pull exif data from a photo, I use EXIF Viewer. This is assuming the person who took the picture has their location enabled on their phone, not everyone does.

a hvm secure in his masculinity would never be intimidated by a woman’s height. one of my favorite youtubers is 5’8”, and sometimes people give him shit because his girlfriend is 5’11”, but he always defends her and says she’s his “tall Dutch queen” and I adore that.

and yet men who make the conscious decision to stop watching porn say themselves they started seeing their partner as more beautiful and their other interpersonal relationships improved.

My grandmother. She lost her son (my uncle) when he was in his early 20’s, but kept herself together so she could raise her daughter (my mom). When my grandfather had a stroke that left him disabled, she cared for him by herself for 10 years. She deserved so much better. She is the strongest woman I know.

So someone should only be labeled an addict if their distress begins when their partner finds out?? so single meth users aren’t addicts then? single alcoholics aren’t addicts? that makes zero logical sense. addiction is addiction regardless of whether it impacts the people around you or not.

You’re missing my point. Women are people, but men have been comparing us to animals for a thousand years and it’s dehumanizing.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/04/21 05:58 PM

Again, I’m not arguing for the term “sex worker”, but words have power.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/04/21 05:39 PM

What makes me uncomfortable is knowing that scrotes refer to these women as “prostitutes” and “hookers” as well, although their justification is different.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/04/21 05:18 PM

Scrotes aren’t thinking of how hungry or battered these women are anyway. And again, I’m not arguing for or against the terms “sex worker” or “prostitute” because I honestly don’t like either one, just for different reasons.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/04/21 05:13 PM
2

That’s what I mean when I say “uplift” them, but I don’t think any woman should be compared to an object or animal.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/04/21 05:11 PM
15

Yeah. I understand not liking the term “sex work” because it paints a pretty picture of a deplorable industry, but verbiage like “prostitute” and “hooker” are so dehumanizing. Trafficked women forced into “sex work”/“prostitution” are our sisters and we need to uplift them.

When razors first started being produced, men were the target audience because they shaved their faces. However, during WWI and WWII, there were so many man drafted that razor sales plummeted. So, a bunch of men sitting in a board room decided to market their razors to women instead, and they did this by running ads declaring that body hair on women was unhygienic. So women started shaving their legs and underarms, and the rest is history.
