While I agree with you that I prefer older, vintage stadiums, the A's stadium is such a mess. Come on now with the sewage backups into the dugout. I'm all for giving it a face lift and some updates. I went to Wrigley and they did that while leaving the old scoreboard and vine walls. It was really nice.

Yanks won, ha. I live 35 mins from the stadium in no traffic, and it took almost 4 hours to get home. Also missed the first inning because the line getting into the stadium was backed up and didn't move for quite a while. But yeah, an experience nonetheless. I think I'll stick to games at Citifield when I do decide to trek out to these games. I've since gone to a few minor league games in the area. Trenton Thunder and Somerset Patriots. Gotta say, much more enjoyable experience as long as you do…

For sure. Once I wore my A's jersey to a game where they were playing the Yanks. I took an INSANE amount of ridicule during the game, then was pushed hard in the parking lot by some drunk asshole. His girlfriend was horrified and apologized profusely. Savages in that stadium.
