I got in trouble later, not big trouble but a talking to. I was on an LHD which transports about 2000 marines and their gear to where ever to blown shit up. Well she would get calls from random marines after working hours when we were on deployment. It was 2 or 3 calls a night. So I would bitch at who ever was on the phone because it was usually some lance corporal. So anyway we were at quarters (morning meeting) one day and i was talking to some other guys and I said "I get calls from these ass…

I was a work center sup after I made second class. I had this one shitbag female who would constantly cry and fake being sick and shit. I was a total jerk to her because she refused to pull her weight. So I would make her always do the shit jobs. She would cry in a corner and I gave zero fucks. We sent her cranking and left her down there for like 130 days. I treated all shitbags equally, like shitbags.

I didn't miss your point, your point was just stupid. You meet force with equal or greater force. You don't put yourself at a disadvantage. The woman made her choice by going after a person with a gun. I wouldn't ask a person, any person, to risk their lives for someone who has no respect for theirs.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/04/16 09:09 PM
5

You meet force with equal or greater force. A taser would be meeting deadly force with less lethal force. That would be stupid on the cops part to use a taser and he could well end up dead.

It has been shown that a person with a knife can successfully attack an armed person before they can draw their weapon at about a distance of 20 feet. She was well with in that range and moving towards the cop. You do not have to be attacked to defend yourself. The woman had the capability to do harm and she showed intent by moving forward. So yeah he had every right to shoot her.

The only thing I can think of is that they would make a hoax so when people would complain about it they could say "oh its just a joke it wasn't real. You all are so dumb falling for anything". I don't see what they would gain from that though.

That's why you have to prove malicious intent. Just lying to cover your own ass wouldn't really fall under what I'm proposing this is for people who knowingly go to the police to get someone put in jail because they want revenge for something. It is damn near impossible to find someone guilty of, which as I said is a good thing. It should be very hard to find someone guilty of such a crime. However, when there is enough evidence and the DA can prove that the person intended to deprive a person o…

What if the person was successful in getting someone falsely imprisoned for 25 years or put to death? That persons actions would be directly responsible for ruining someone's life. It isn't simply lying I'm talking about people whose intention is to use the judicial system to imprison an innocent person. Using the state to kidnap and or kill someone is just as bad as doing it yourself.
/r/PussyPassDenied22/03/16 01:03 AM
77

Mens rea should matter in that case. If your intention was to knowingly send an innocent person to jail then the punishment should be the same as the accused crime. Also it is very hard to prove which is good because it will protect people who are actual victims. If you accuse someone of rape but the evidence isn't strong enough to charge them that wouldn't be a false accusation. However, having a text conversation and you say you'll cry rape if the person doesn't do something should be treated …

Oh Click, yeah she was a professor. She used tactics of the regressive left to silence a student journalist in a public space. She claimed it was a "safe space" and the called for other students to remove the student journalist by force for recording what was going on. She is very anti-free speech when it doesn't go along with her beliefs which is unethical. That is why GG dislikes her because they are for free speech, more transparency and ethics in journalism.

All of those are shitty, what you just did was commit tu quoque fallacy. Just because other people are doing shitty things doesn't excuse what Anita Sarkeesian is doing. She isn't finishing her tropes videos. She's moving on to new videos, which is unethical on her part. Maybe she will finish them, in that cause I would be wrong, but at this point in time 3 and half years after the start, over 100 grand pledged and only 2 videos have been produced. What happened to the money? I never called out …

Um she never finished her tropes videos so she reneged on her promise and now she's asking for something like 200 grand. Also she didn't write a letter she went to the UN and spoke. Yeah people are paying her regressive ideology credence but you can just stick your head in the sand. Not to mention she makes something like 25k at her speaking engagements yet has to ask other people for more money to not finish the videos she said she was going to do.

The short of it. Someone was caught sleeping around for good reviews for their game. This ended up creating a group that felt that the gaming press was unethical in how they reviewed games. Since the gaming industry is a multi-billion dollar industry this isn't a minor issue. From there it spiraled with some 3rd wave feminists claiming that GG is just sexist and they hate women leading to many twitter and youtube kerfuffles. I don't know if is just me but doesn't it seem dudes tend to me more pleasant to total strangers. Little things, almost every time someone lets me left turn in traffic it's a dude. More dudes have held a door for me when holding something than women. Also most times where someone has let me skip in line because I had only one item it was a guy. Guys are more likely to follow social norms because we are not granted excuses for not following them.

Justice O'conner even wrote in ruling on Grutter v. Bollinger that eventually affirmative action has to die off. That "race-conscious admissions policies must be limited in time." O'Conner put that time at around 25 years but honestly it should be over now. The idea that we judge people based on their skin color and not the merits of their work is rather disgusting. Being less or more prone to sunburn isn't an indication of ability.

For now. Eventually, the standards will change. They always do. In the Navy a brand new fresh out of boot camp male has to do at least 42 push up in 2 minutes, 50 sit ups in 2 minutes and run 1.5 miles in 12:30. Females on the other hand have to do 50 sit ups, 19 push ups and have 15 minutes to run the 1.5 miles... 15 minutes. I sit behind a desk all day and rarely run and I can do 1.5 in 15 minutes. By the time a female is my age (32) in the Navy she has 16:45 to do the run and only has to do 1…

I'm 5 foot 8 and when I was in the Navy I was always put on the 5 Inch gun ammo handling team. We would move the 90 lbs 5 Inch rounds during gun shoots and you know how many times a female was on the loading station in the deep mag. Never, not once. If they can't load a 5 Inch gun what makes them think they can load a 155mm or lug around a 240 all day. BTW fuck the 240 I'd have to carry that fucking thing during sea and anchor.

In many states any item used in the same manner as a firearm results in a firearms felony. So for example if you rob a bank with an air soft gun they treat it the same as if you were using a real gun. Extending that logic he pulled a bb gun to intimidate, which in many respects is exactly the same thing as pulling a gun to intimidate. I'm not defending ol' girl but let's be reasonable someone pulls a gun on you, you have the right to defend yourself. The entire case is just redneck.

Just wondering. How is she even being prosecuted? It seems like such a slippery sloped. Telling someone to do something cannot equal the action. For instance if someone says they are going to rob a bank and I agreed they should do it am I legally just as liable? I didn't rob the bank. Why should I be held to account for it. I mean yes the woman is a total shit bag but we should be careful because we don't want to give the state the ability to prosecute thought crimes.

Instincts cannot be changed. Human nature can, it can be shaped and molded by society. I never denied human nature but it's not an instinct. Who we are is an amalgam of our experiences and our tendencies as humans. However we can overcome negative tendencies and cultivate positive ones. It's not an instinct. All the people in the video made choices, everyone makes choices to say we are born with tendency to protect women is silly. We are taught that, society teaches us this. We are taught that m…

I think you are missing the point. So I'll but it more succinctly. Instincts are a behavior exhibited by the vast majority of a species that is innate and the individual has no control over. Functions of the body do not fall under this because they are required to exist and are also not behaviors. So reflexes, peeing, and breathing are not instincts. Like I said before under the definition of instinct if we claim that sex is instinctual then we have no control over ourselves when it came to it. …

Except eating poop is a widespread behavior among dogs, salmon swimming up stream is a widespread behavior among salmon, and going into the sea right after hatching is a widespread behavior among sea turtles. No one teaches them to do this they just do it. Being able to decide, to choose is a function of a rational mind. Instinct is the opposite. No though is involved animals that rely on instinct they just do whatever the behavior is. No matter what. The moment you have the ability to choose yo…

I also want to point out one other important thing. If sex is an instinct then we have no control over ourselves because instincts are uncontrollable, that's their nature. Then one could reason that men rape. All men do because we have no control over our sex drive because it's instinctual. Once you are aroused you have to fuck something. We all know this is ridiculous we all have complete control of our sex drive because it is a function of the body, like pissing and shitting.
/r/MensRights14/03/14 03:07 PM

Functions of the body are not instincts. Reflexes are not instincts. You know why? Because they are not behaviors they are just functions of the body. A dog eating poop out of the litter box is an instinct because it's a behavior. Dogs eat the poop of their young to keep predators from finding them. For some reason they also feel the need to eat the poop in the litter box. Salmon swim all the way back to where they were born to copulate and then die. Those adorable sea turtles all start making a…

No humans don't have instincts, name me one thing humans do that is "a fix pattern of behavior in response to a certain stimuli". Ants will follow a pheromone trail to their death, rams butt heads, and dogs will piss around town when you take them for a walk. Not because the choose to but because they have to. That is instinct. Humans make choices, sure that baby crying is annoying but I can choose to ignore it. The people who saw the man getting robbed knew it was wrong but they CHOSE to ignore…

Human beings do not have instincts. an instinct is "an innate, typically fixed pattern of behavior in animals in response to certain stimuli". Because we have rational thought we do nothing based on instinct. We think about our responses, society defines some of these responses but in the end we make decisions for every action we take. We are not animals, we are not slaves to instinct. To pretend otherwise is an excuse for bad behavior.

I hate the genetic excuse. It's lame, human being are capable of rational thought and overcoming innate reactions to situations. That is what separates us from a dog or a cow. To blame genetics is a cop out. Edit: I guess I'll write it here because all the rest were downvoted. MRA always state that men don't rape and rapist rape (and I agree with this). Yet the minute someone states that humans are not a slave to their biology and that humans make choices not driven by instinct but by free will …

What about the fetus? That's the problem you nor can anyone else prove when life actually begins and when we extend rights to a life. If rights are extended to a fetus at 20 weeks then wouldn't abortion be murder? Does the convenience of the mother override the life of the fetus? It is not as cut and dry as "my body my choice" which is what I said before. You can pretend that it is just the mother but it's not there is another thing involved. There's a difference between taking a brain dead child off life support and aborting a fetus. The child on life support would naturally die if we didn't have modern medicine, on the other hand the fetus in the mother would most likely become a human being if not for modern medicine. When you take someone off life support you are not killing them, they would have already been dead if not for the doctors. We are just letting nature run it's course. With abortion we are interrupting nature to termi…

The median is a better representation than the average in most cases. It is better at avoiding outliers. Ah still watch them they are shady. I've seen too many decent guys go down for sleeping with the wrong girl btw what boat or command are you with.

They could but most American women don't like Asian guys for some reason we had about 700 women on my first boat and only one dated and married a Japanese National. However for the guys many many married Japanese women.

Fucking outside your pay grade or in your chain of command. Usually you go one up one down and you are safe but never ever in your chain of command and never officer to enlisted or blue shirt (E-1 to E-6) to khaki (E-7 and above) So E-5 can screw around with an E-6 in a different division and it's generally okay most ships have the rule of "shipmates not dates" where anyone in the command is off limits.

This happens all the time. When I was in I served on 2 different ships and even worse we were stationed in Japan so the female JOs couldn't hook up with Japanese men so they were left with Navy types. Female JOs were banging enlisted dude all the time. I never lucked out but that's besides the point. When women fuck up in the Navy they just need to play the sexual assult card and they get away with anything.

When I was in the Navy I was on an LHD class ship which is pretty much a Marine Taxi. I remember when the Marines were filing on board the girls would be basically lined up watching them picking out which Marine they wanted, like a cattle auction.

Actually yes you can. While I know the Navy is not the real world, we were told not to be alone with a female sailor any where because if they claimed sexual assult it would be taken as fact.

Don't sink to her (I'm assuming bases on some of her comments) level of ignorance. She is a troll just down vote and ignore her. Even better date an Asian woman and have her call you racist.

I married a Japanese woman. She is pretty awesome. I can do what ever I want still she doesn't try to control me she understands I need time to my self. We share house hold chores. She works and actually makes more then I do right now because I'm in college. When ever she brings home tips from work she tries to give me part of it, but I refused because she earned the money. This is the differences between western and eastern women. Yes their are some awful eastern women but you are much more lik…

I remember when I was in the Navy we had a few females who refused to do heavy labor. It would piss me off when I was a lower rank that these girls would get away with doing easy jobs while I worked my ass off. So when I was put in to a leadership position I would make sure the girls would do just as much work as the guys If I saw a girl just standing around I would pick the first guy I saw have him stop doing what he was doing and put the girl there and have him go off and do something else. I …

Yea that wa called IA or individual augmentee. I know alot of people who had to do it I was picked to go but then something changed and I did not have to go. When you sign up for the military uncle sam owns you it says so in the contract.

I always hated that term. You sign up for 8 you agree to do 4 or 6 or what ever active but the contract states that they can just say screw that and make you do all 8 needs of the military style. You know what you sign up for so please stop calling it a back door draft.

He definitaly had to re-enlist at least one time if it was his 9th deployment. I'd have to say he did it to him self. I just go out of the military because I was sick of getting deployed all the time. Also I have not heard of anyone getting "Stop-Lossed" in a long time and btw its really not anything that should surprise anyone who has been enlisted in the military. It's in the contract you sign to go. You make a choice when you go in to the military. You get money and a free ride in college and…

I once smelled a bum 75 yards before I saw him there. I was amazed by that. Also cost of living it's so expensive only because of the western influence. Go a few miles away and everything gets cheap. It's also so densely populated. It's basically China's version of New York City.

NYC is among the worst cities I have ever visited. I've been to Hong Kong, Tokyo, Brisbane, Pattaya, Manila, Seoul, Seattle and NYC and New York ranks at the botton with Manila and Hong Kong. Dirty and shitty place, no class and a small area of the city that is nice where all the rich people look down on everyone. Fuck that entire city.
