I'd start with getting off porn and anything that's overly sexually stimulating.

This is literally everything. Should be put in the description of the sub or something. The only way to have self-respect is living a respectable life.

My gaydar is elite, and I can often tell if a dude is gay JUST by the face, but of course, mannerisms, voice and general presentation makes it way easier. A lot of gay guys have "kind eyes", this sort of soft gaze. As a straight guy who's gotten A LOT of gay attention through the years, I actually never had any women who seriously thought I was gay, even if my face is kind of feminine.

Everyone loves being chased, it's flattering and validating. But everyone's usually chasing someone that's just slightly or more out of their league, and they have people below their league chasing them.

I hit a major growth spurt at the tail end of puberty, at the end of which I turned out a tall, slim, blonde guy with high cheekbones and chiseled jawline. Which was a far cry from the dumpy, loser, unathletic gamer kid I had been my whole life. It's taken me a fucking long ass time to align how I look and how others perceive me with how I feel inside, and I'm still not quite there. Throughout my college days I flubbed so much pussy it's fucking insane. Beautiful girls that were showing so much …

Hot guys with a lot of options are picky too, probably not as picky as hot girls, but not any kind of girl is gonna get a right swipe from an Adonis.

We do the exact same thing to girls? It's just human nature. Discrimination based on looks is carried over in any social facet of life, not just dating.

I think it's hilarious that anyone would want a superhero movie nominated for best picture period.

I think it's less of the religious angle and more an attack on his masculinity.

Sure, I wouldn't want to fuck a teacher at 12 or whatever, but at 15? I prayed for that shit. You guys are all fine with saying that women and men are biologically different, but when I say there's a difference between a grown man fucking a 15 year old girl and a grown woman fucking a 15 year old boy, your jimmies get all rustled. First of all, most 15 year old boys will be stronger or of comparable strength to most grown women. There's a much bigger chance that sex between a teenaged boy and gr…

Is her stand-up good? I love Joe Rogan's podcast but can't stand his stand-up.

Comedy is a LOT about execution though. Your spirit and attitude on stage has so much say in how funny something is. A guy talking about his nasty dick CAN probably be funny, if executed correctly. Almost any subject matter can be funny if the comedian is skilled enough.

Kicking someone's ass over a single beer? That's not even ruined? A little foam? Over a playful joke? Get the fuck outta here.

You're foreign so he probably didn't like you very much and assumed you were taking the seat since you don't respect your elders because you're a filthy gaijin.

This is true, but when comparing how men and women communicate their sexual preferances, women are a lot more disingenious.

Just make your own life awesome and awesome people will come to you, easy as that. Fill your life with fulfilling and interesting hobbies and interests. Get swole. Read some shit. It's all out there.

I showed romantic interest in a very good friend of mine (kissed her while she had a boyfriend) and although it got pretty weird for a very brief time we're still great friends and hangout pretty frequently. So if you're really into a girl, don't be afraid to show your interest even if you value the current relationship you have with her. If you any kind of social savvyness you'd be able to repair it if it goes to shit.

Well, you say you're not bitter, just realistic about what all girls are, which is in your mind these cheating, untrustworthy sluts. I'm of the opinion that you get what you give. But hey, if you are truly happy with yourself and the way your relationships are turning out then I'm happy for you. You do you man. But I still think that in the end you won't be happy with how your relationship with women are and you will start searching for something more meaningful, but I guess you're pretty young …

My impression is that TRP is very appealing to "nerdy/beta" guys who feel like they've been fed a lie of what being a man means. So they have this reactionary response where they default to the most superficial interpretation of what an alpha male is. A jacked up douchebag. But what these guys are soon to realize is that this path doesn't lead to happiness. Though I guess that along the way they will learn something valuable about themselves and their way of interacting with women. So at it is, …

As /u/trp_zzz said, maybe TRP isn't for me. I've had a life where I've had the privilege of loving and being loved by those that I've seeked love from. A requirement before being able to do this is also loving yourself. And those who seek out TRP often seem to not be at peace with themselves to be able to love themselves. They seem to hate their past selves for being weak and try to burn those parts away. But the values they have chosen to follow are, in my opinion, false idols. They seem callou…

Maybe I'm not completely read-up on what this thing is really about. I was just asking a question based on what my preconceptions on what TRP is.

It seems to me that you are saying that the teachings for TRP are not for everybody, just men that have been hurt by being a pussy in a previous relationship. That the things they have been told by society on how relationships works have turned out to be a lie and now they need to toughen up and show those "bitches" who's got the dick.

If you are a man, then you have to come to terms with your own vulnerability and need for succor, and not see it as weakness. You need to be able to request what you need from your wife, even if it feels a little embarrassing at the time. You need to be able to demonstrate to her that while you are strong, you are not unapproachable . . . or invulnerable, especially to her. Yeah, I agree with all of that. It just seems that a lot of TRPers don't pick up on this important lesson.

Same thing with white supremacists and their ilk. They have no accomplishments of their own so they try to piggyback on the accomplishments of greater men. The only thing about their identities they have to be proud of is that they are part of the race that subjugated the world 150 years ago.

I'm also in the same situation. Anybody have any articles or videos broaching this subject?

When I crush on a girl I can also get a little hesitant and more scared to make my attraction known, which is weird since I'm a flirty dude. I'm actually in a situation that's very similar to yours where I'm the guy. You're not Norwegian by any chance?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
