My inadvertent solution to this was having the majority of my closer and more personal friends be female. This just sort of happened naturally because I'm a very private and emotional person on the inside and they wanted to be friends with me. It's given me a safe outlet where I'm not judged for my feelings and I have the freedom to talk about whatever I want to them, and vice versa.

There's a long list of candidates here, I'd say one of the biggest ones for me is that, in many places some of us probably live in, men legally cannot be victims of rape, and women can't commit rape. Even men in some cases. I saw a case not too long ago in which 5 men and 4 women kidnapped and gang-raped 2 male college students and got fuck all punishment for it. Some of them got plea deals and the rest got like 7 years or something. The "leader" got a life sentence, but that's about it.
