This is about a guy (in OP) who wants to live a normal life but keeps attracting "unusual" people (like girl in OP) so he must find ways to deal with them without getting attention on himself. 2	It's okay to stay in your parent's basement if it suits you This living with parent shaming is just big in the US. It is less of a problem in Europe and here in Asia, it is AGAINST the culture to move out before you are married. When i spoke to my friends (even oversea returnees) about moving out, they are like no don't do it, people will think your family got some big problems. My parents were like: "WHY DO YOU HATE US???".
