Christ! The lack of empathy and utter contempt of her is really screaming out from his post. Note how he labels himself a good guy.

I bet she’s been forced to monetise her hobby because he won’t budget enough money for her and or their kids. I hope she wakes up and leaves this useless scrote.

“Non-lethal cancer” “Relegating my family and kids to the backburner” What a complete asshat!

Exactly. My friend had no idea for those 10 years. The guy is wealthy, homes in 4 countries. Every time he went away on “business” he was likely playing house with the first woman. The audacity of men never ceases to amaze me!

Reminds me of a close friend of mine. She has only just recently found out she is technically “the other woman” after a 10 year relationship, living together, this man fathered a child with her. But conveniently also had an entire life/ house he shared with someone else for over 20 years!!! He get caught only to promise the first woman marriage, dumping friend and his child whom he now never sees.

Wow I didn’t know he met her at 14! When I initially read about this it did strike me as rather odd. I mean what does a 30 something have in common with a teenager?!

The cognitive dissonance at play here is horrific. I had a similar conversation with my ex husband. It rendered him silent for all of 3 seconds. It was then I realised his abusive behaviour was deliberate.

Like it isn’t enough that you’re keeping house, looking after your babies, family pets, working, paying bills, servicing the car, meal planing, holiday planing, emotional and social labour, then you also have to instruct a grown man how to adult. 😒

Never marry a man who has significantly less assets than you.

Views like this are problematic. Again it’s a woman’s/ mothers fault for raising a badly behaved man. That doesn’t sit well with me...I mean where do fathers fit into this equation.

Reminds me of my ex who’d take a 10 day long boys trip to Madrid leaving me alone with a newborn and a 2 year old. He’s still completely unable to prioritise the needs of his own children over and above what he wants/needs. And any attempt to point the glaringly obvious, results in him pleading that I’m attacking him. 🙄

How I wish I had the benefit of FDS in my early 20s. I met my ex at just turned 20, he was 8 years older. He expected a 50/50 relationship (mainly me putting in 90% effort and him very little) even though he had the benefit of an established career and I was in my final year of university. I was living with him by 23. Pregnant with our first by 25 and our second by 28, married at 29. I was effectively an unpaid maid with the bonus of sex thrown in. He’d always say to me “promise you’ll look afte…

I learnt this the hard way, only we had two young children too. I fell for his BS that I couldn’t be on the deed of the family home because I was at home looking after our babies full time. After 8 years I finally married him, only to divorce him two years later. Obviously there were other issues involved, but I thank the universe for marrying him otherwise we’d have been left with nothing.

Flashback when I made the mistake of being in the car with my ex, whilst going through a bad break up. He was driving at 140mph. When a guy tells you he has a crazy/psycho ex. You know for a fact her reaction is due to whatever bullshit she was put through in that relationship.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
