Some wives even make to-do lists for their husbands while they're gone...and it's natural perception of it to be completely normal.

No doubt about it...it's mandatory to keep her at bay as much as possible. Ghosting is my weapon of choice to control too much interaction.

You can't really cut her out after you have kids together. That's a fact. You can run but you can't hide. Kid has both parents even after the split...and on many occasions she will still shit test you...it's hard to believe but some of the realtionshit still happens even through casual talk - because you're obliged to talk to her about the kid, only not so often anymore and possibly over the phone...so that red button is a viable option when the time is right. :)

Can totally relate, man. Spending the time with my 4-year old was never better than now when we can do whatever we want, no mother bullshit principles and alienating things of how it's should be. It wasn't possible to raise the kid togehter with her, she just wouldn't let me, always her right and at the same time she gave me "you should spend more time with your kid". Months prior our breakup were the lowest point of my life, not to mention how bad it was for the kid to see all that shit. But no…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
