There are two main jobs in a relationship. Taking care of the home from the inside. Taking care of the home from the outside. The first job requires housecleaning, meal making, and child caring. The second job requires paying for bills, food, house, insurance, appliances, vehicles, and more. Both are needed. If you have both partners handling job 1 then money gets neglected and thus poverty and more becomes an issue. If both partners are performing job 2 then the home gets neglected and so do th…

(Some) Women: “I don’t need anyones help succeed!” Also Them: “Let’s make a law to help women cause they aren’t succeeding.” If you aren’t a damsel in distress then why do you insist on getting special “dainty” treatment cause you’re so fragile? (This applies to some women. NOT ALL. Just like some men are bad. NOT ALL. We are equal, in good and in bad.)

Did you even read the title…? The complaints are about the Feminism being shoved down our throats by every movie. Feminism is an ideology, not women. I’d complain if any movie tried to force something political down my throat. I’m watching a movie for pure enjoyment and entertainment as an escape from reality. I don’t want feminism or anything else in the movies I watch. I just want some good writing, acting, and a solid plot. I can do without anything that’s basically a political campaign ad

Icky women? Dude this sub is for people who are decent, not trolls like you. Mens rights fight for equality of men and women, not to look down on them. If you wanna look down on anyone go to r/feminism or whatever.

No one can is entitled to someone else’s body. That is true and I agree. But the Baby is not your body, so you are then not entitled to it as well.
/r/MensRights10/05/22 04:05 AM
3

But the idea that a mother can get rid of a baby means that baby is not valuable enough to keep. A mother has the responsibility to carry a baby to term, just like men have the responsibility to care for the baby after birth. A mother can be forced to carry to term because to not is murder. An abortion is murder, so to not carry to term is murder. Murder is illegal. So if killing myself, my own body, is considering illegal, then to end a life, even if apart of your body, is illegal as well.

The point I’m trying to make is that a life shouldn’t have lesser value because of its location or dependency on another persons life. How do I have the right to say “you are inconvenient for me, so you should die so I can live my life the way I want to. Even though I knew that by committing the act of having sex there is a chance that you will live.”
/r/MensRights10/05/22 03:28 AM
3

So someone’s life has different value based on whether inside the womb or not? So that means if a child is born through incubation outside a mother it could not be aborted right?
/r/MensRights10/05/22 03:15 AM
4

Does that mean that 6month old babies who also need their mothers to live should also be able to be aborted? Or what about kids with developmental disorders or are disabled and need their mothers to live?
/r/MensRights10/05/22 03:00 AM

It is not bad to have sex and not want kids, and there are ways to avoid that but no guarantees. I believe tho that a fetus is a human life, no matter how developed. I believe all humans no matter how developed have the right to life. Therefor abortion is murder. Edit: I think that if you are gonna have sex you have to accept the risks of pregnancy, no matter how small. And if you want to have sex then you should know that it might bring life in the world, if you don’t want to bring life with a …

I think if you choose to have sex, with the known risk of getting pregnant, then you should follow with the pregnancy until birth. And yeah I agree I might’ve gotten the wrong idea from what you said I apologize

If I as a man said “I want to have sex, even if it means the death of a person” people would throw me in jail or worse. But a woman can say “I want to have sex, even if I have to abort a baby.” Aka murder it. It’s crazy to think that women are gods who can determine what’s life and what’s not and who gets to live and who doesn’t. It’s insane

This is why you talk about what you both desire and mutually agree on a plan that fulfills both partners needs. Sometimes both people enjoy BDSM, sometimes only one of them does. But rarely does one person do something unexpected and harmful. If they did then they’d lose a partner and I find most people would rather play things safe then lose that intimacy.

I’m not sure that there is much to say to change your mind. You have your own personal bias I can see, that’s fine tho don’t get me wrong. It’s a free world and I don’t disrespect the fact you have your own valid opinion. Thank you for the good discussion, and thank you for not being mean or insulting. That doesn’t make men evil tho. And being evil doesn’t mean that your emotions are the reason. Evil people can still be emotionally intelligent and in fact I’d say it takes a great deal of emotional intelligence to rise to the ranks of being a dictator or serial killer and such. Because to be that kinda person who have to be cunning in every are of your life, including emotions. Germans said that during WWII that it was Hitlers passion and strength that drew them to do such terrible things. Hitl…

Yes. But female ones do exist. Why I’m trying to point out that maybe it’s not their emotions that’s the problem and a problem with people in general. There are going to be terrible people. Do you run men down because more of them happen to be terrible than women? Not at all.
/r/MensRights16/04/22 08:42 PM
1

The world is full of terrible people on Both sides. But to say because one man did something or one woman did something that the whole of their gender is worse is wrong. Am I to say that because of a couple bad leaders that every Russian is evil at heart? Or to say that because settlers had slaves that each one of them was diabolical? Or to say because the Chinese invaded lands they shouldn’t had like Taiwan that each person is invasive? Or to say that because hitler committed genocide that all …
/r/MensRights16/04/22 07:41 PM

Yes but like I said, do you feel the same about Baby Farmers? Or Serial Killer nurses? Or elderly caretakers who kill? Who are predominately women.
/r/MensRights16/04/22 07:29 PM
1

If our conversation degrades into both describing how equally emotional intelligent and non intelligent both men and women are, are we just proving that men and women aren’t so different after all? And what does this score women? This isn’t like “men are taking what’s special about women away”. And are you trying to prove that men are worse people? Honestly I’m not sure what your motivation is here.
/r/MensRights16/04/22 06:51 PM
1

Then again I could argue that passive aggression, toxicity, self obsession, and emotional outbreaks are a sign of no emotional intelligence. So whts the point?
/r/MensRights16/04/22 06:46 PM
1

No but then again what’s the percentage of men being shooters in comparison to the total? Does the minority define the majority? By that logic how do you feel about the women who ran Baby farms? Do they then define all of women? No not at all. The extreme is not meant to define the average person and shouldn’t be. Men and women display emotional instability in different ways. Where a man lashes out, a women will often act in passive aggression. Different, but both damaging.
/r/MensRights16/04/22 06:35 PM
1

That is not fair to say. I myself as a man can control my emotions without suppression. And by saying that do you in turn say that women can? What is the goal here? I am here to express that men and women are both humans with emotions that are expressed differently but are equal. I’m trying to express the equality of men and women. What are you trying to do?
/r/MensRights16/04/22 06:28 PM
1

Impulsive emotions and impulsive actions are different. Tied together yes, but also different. Men and women can both be very emotionally intelligent people with different ways of expressing it.
/r/MensRights16/04/22 06:25 PM
1

Like I have said. The idea of emotion intelligence has been rooted in the bias that the control of emotions are bad, and the impulsive display of them is good. This idea presents a bias towards femininity that false. Read Jordan Petersons work. He is a great guy with a lot of knowledge.
/r/MensRights16/04/22 06:24 PM
1

It is, yes I agree. But let’s say I want to talk about something that’s bothering me in a setting not currently appropriate for impulsive emotion? If I had no control I couldn’t. But where as I do I can talk about my emotions anywhere anytime anyhow. I can talk about my emotions without anxiety or being overwhelmed. I can talk about them with clarity and careful thought. I am able to speak to my emotions and current state much better when I am collective rather than impulsive. Women are more imp…

I am not indulging in suppression. Suppression ≠ Control. I don’t believe suppression is healthy. But control of emotions is something that someone with high EI is able to do.
/r/MensRights16/04/22 06:13 PM
1

Emotional suppression is not the same as emotional control. Suppression is the forceful ignorance of an emotions existence. Control is being able to perceive emotion without impulsively acting on it. Men can do both, but control is something most men are better at than women.
/r/MensRights16/04/22 06:12 PM
1

Yes empathy is a very female trait. I’m not sure how many times I am supposed to say I agree with you 😂 I AGREE😂 Women are more empathetic. Yes. But empathy won’t get you everywhere and isn’t the end all be all. That’s why these studies are often too biased is because the modern world often sees empathy as good, and emotional control as bad. If a man doesn’t cry people go “wow he’s just not emotionally intelligent.” When most don’t see the battle that wars inside him to keep himself composed. Th…

Men are generally better at any situation where an initial burst of emotion is not favored. Yes women are better in general at things that are outwardly emotional, but not as good at being able to control it when it comes to other situations. Something like getting chewed out by a boss. lots of men would be able to keep a cool tone, express complete thoughts without being negatively impacted by emotional hurt, and leave without raising his voice. But at the same time lots of women might take thi…

Yes empathy is best present in women. I agree. But EI isn’t about showing emotion only, but also not showing it when needed. Which is something men are really good at.
/r/MensRights16/04/22 05:59 PM
1

Better at empathy yes. That I agree with. That’s apart of the ability to not only understand but show emotions that I was talking about. But EI is not quite as cut and dry. Because the world sees “not showing emotion” as the opposite of EI. If I were to get yelled at and I sat there and did nothing people would most often say “oh he’s so emotionally numb and clueless. He must not be emotionally intelligent.” What they don’t perceive is the idea that the ability to NOT show emotion or to act out …

I’m just saying look at other sources as well 😂 That’s directly taken from the first link. I actually read what you sent lol, I’m not one to just dismiss you without looking at your sources. And in regards to EI, the EI system generally tends to favor women in the fact that it mostly acknowledges what women inherently display as positive, and what men display as negative. Which is a false bias that generally invalidates the study.

While I do give you the benefit of the doubt and say that a lot of what’s listed is true to a certain extent, the general making the source cited is based upon sexual bias towards today’s femininity. I can take all the work in the world on how coffee is evil and compile it together, and while the evidence might say that’s true, it still leaves out all the counter arguments. Wikipedia you know has biases and misinformation due to seeking out to political corruption and popular opinion. I don’t claim that men are more emotionally intelligent than women, and I don’t claim the opposite is true either. But the general idea is that men are more likely to be more emotionally stable than women. Not saying that’s a bad thing either. Both have their place. Men are trained to be weak. Look at the average man here vs country with much more clearly defined gender roles. Look at our past. We have the weakest men in history. And look at what kinda pressure society puts on men. There are so much hate towards the male gender that it’s jaw dropping. Meanwhile women basically are allowed to act however they want. And yes women can be trained to be emotionally stable as well, but emotions are different for men and women. Women don’t necessarily need to be a…

While yes you are right in that we aren’t taken seriously a lot of the time these days, you are wrong and that we are more prone to be stabler. So yes not all men are emotionally stable, you can thank society for that, but men when properly trained and brought up are more likely to be stable.
/r/MensRights14/04/22 04:12 PM
2

There ofc are always exceptions. Saying they are more stable is not the same as saying every man is stable emotionally. I say that because men when properly trained to be emotionally mature are often very much more stable. If anything the suicide rates are a PERFECT example of what training men to be unstable looks like. That’s all they are doing. They are training the men in this world to be unstable and easily breakable. That’s why the numbers continue to rise. If you take a look at the past w…

Women and men are both very emotional, people in general are emotional, just men are emotionally stable on average than women. Men have been taught not only how to control their emotions but also how to weaponize them. Women on the other hand are more likely to use their emotions to help others and to be a friend. The big thing is that if men are armed with emotional stability and intelligence they are less likely to be controlled and more likely to be a threat to those looking to take advantage…

Men are emotional, they are just significantly more emotionally stable than women. Women are more likely to lash out or break down because of emotional instability. THAT is what they want. They don’t want emotional men, they want men to be emotionally unstable. Most men are capable of recognizing, stabilizing, and utilizing their emotions to great lengths and have been taught this for hundreds of years. The problem with that is emotionally stable people can think for themselves, and how can you …

Women aren’t more emotionally intelligent, they are just more vocal about emotions. “Omg that person is so sad! Why didn’t anyone notice? It must because I’m better at detecting and recognizing emotion!” When that’s not the case at all. Very true on all of those. And yeah the Baby is normally moved to the womb. But it didn’t start there is the point. And yes it is 50/50. Each person has 46 chromosomes. 23 from the mother, 23 from the father. They don’t get all the chromosomes from either one but instead have a new blueprint for DNA that defined their makeup. It’s the perfect mix. This process creates new cells with new DNA. And if we use DNA to determine the difference between people when solving criminal cases, why doesn’t tha…

Very interesting points!! Thank you for sharing!! It is pretty rough to determine where life starts because anything we determine inside the womb also affects the outside as well. We couldn’t define consciousness as a factor because there are plenty of people in comas who are alive. We can’t use a heartbeat as a determining factor because there are actually people in this world without hearts who are alive. We can’t define it’s dependence on the mother as a factor because almost all children are…

If an abortion is the termination of a fetus, then the fetus dies, the fact that you HAVE to describe it separately from the mothers body is PROOF that it’s separate! The simple representation of a man’s wants and a woman’s wants. Feminists see anything and everything a man does as evil, and anything and everything a woman does as good. Even something as simple as wanting to go a different direction on the elevator. A feminist would still see you as evil. Casual misandry. Simple and innocent on the surface but pretty sexist when you think about it.

As someone who is participating in the law right now, the best advice I can give you is KEEP YOUR STORY STRAIGHT. Even a little lapse in a detail or two can get people to turn on you. Let her bucket fill with holes, and then watch yours as you actually hold something tangible.

Ah yeah I can see what you mean. And yeah it does rely on the individual. I’ve seen both. And yeah I don’t think anyone should belittle them, they are people too.

People can change their sexuality. That’s the whole idea of being gender fluid. I had friends that weren’t gay until it became more mainstream. And then they became straight again because now it’s normal. And when I asked them about it, they said it was because they were seen as special and different and protected and were given attention. But the moment everyone in our high school was gay they no longer received special attention or privileges. So they became straight again. Which is fine. But …

I think this just highlights that both men and women receive unwanted sexual attention and we should accept that it is a thing that humans do, regardless of gender.

Oh but that’s so that they can do their hair and nails and makeup and eye lashes and dress nicely and body hygiene and stuff. That’s the most important part right? Right? Or at least thats what they say when they tell me that they shouldn’t pay for dates. You pay for their meal and their bathrooms! ✨Equality✨

Well I mean in case of a really bad situation where there was real abuse. Like a man beating or shooting his wife. I’m THAT case, then it’s perfectly fine for someone to divorce and take that terrible persons money. But in cases where there was no real abuse, which happens most of the time, then you are correct.

But that’s why I clarified in saying, “make sure I’m loved.” You do make a good point. And I can definitely understand that. But I’m talking about a situation in which I would be in stable safe environment. And these days there is so much support for women in abusive relationships then it would be perfectly fine.

Women deal with more cleaning because they create more things that need to be cleaned. Men: “I could probably wear this shirt for two more days.” Women: “Oh gosh I wore that this morning I can’t go out like that!” Men: “I can use this bowl for my cereal and Mac-n-Cheese and my mashed potatoes!” Women: “I have two plates, a bowl, a knife, a spoon, a fork, and a dessert platter.” Tbh I think back then when people understood responsibility they generally came to the conclusion “clean up your own me…

And hey to be fair that is perfectly fine. I don’t think that it’s wrong to be safe whatsoever. As long as what you are scared of isn’t harming other people. That’s the real problem. People are so afraid these days of men that it’s changing society to loath them in so many ways. It’s hard to live a society where you aren’t even treat as a human but an animal. THAT is the real problem. Be safe. Be as safe as you want. But don’t lock me up to keep your peace of mind.

If you follow the media and the redefined term of assault that they use then yes, 97% of women are assaulted. If you use their idea of assault which is, “If you even dare glance at a womens boobies!”. In that case women assault just as much as men so… But here’s a fun fact for you around ~96% of all men will without consent get hit in the balls at one point in their life. Colorado Revised Statues (2013) defines “Unlawful Sexual Behavior” as follows: When one person knowingly inflicts sexual intr…

So I actually did some research on this and the survey in which these statistics were founded is incredibly false. The survey was sent out to around 780,000 female college students. And only around ~36% of them participated. The students that did participate were more likely to be rape victims and those who hadn’t been raped weren’t interested in participating as much as those who had. Considering it was a survey in where women were only asked and not require to show any proof that makes the res…

Well marital rape is a real thing and a real problem but the idea that it was not punished is completely false. No man had protection from any form of rape charges. And in fact not a lot of men would survive such an act. It was not uncommon to hear about all the men in the neighborhood would get together to beat someone who had committed adultery, rape, theft, murder, or any other sort of crime. Then the police would show up and send them to jail.

The idea that “woman had no rights” is just feminist crap that people have been fed for years. Women didn’t have all the same rights as men, is what you should have said. Feminists wanted the best of both worlds. The rights and privileges of both men and women without all the same responsibilities. Like what we are seeing again in today’s world. Back then people realized that men and women were different and so they were afforded different rights. Men worked more, spent more time in government, …

Yeah I didn’t even get a choice. 2 weeks after turning 18 I get sent a letter with several documents saying that I was registered. Didn’t even do anything. No option to opt out whatsoever. Idk how that would even be possible. And if it was everyone would be moving to those states cause who wants to fight a war? Seems like a no brainer to me.

The idea is that husband and wife actually talked about the decision together. Something that’s rare these days. They both came to the decision together, the husband was just the messenger. People perceive that as “the man makes all the choices” but it’s not. Often times husbands would choose their wives opinions because they had more time during the day to read the paper and talk to friends and just learn than the men who were at work. Husbands and wives made decisions together, and someone has…

Exactly. Just go and look up the ratio of men to woman who work on oil rigs, and then compare that to the chances of fatal injury in that field. Maybe, just MAYBE, women DONT want to die? And generally men are more likely to take risks if they feel the rewards outweigh them. Just a thought tho don’t bother listening to anything reasonable godforbid…

Just because someone is at fault doesn’t mean it’s ok to make something that causes people such harm to be easily accessible. Drugs are illegal for this very reason. Yeah it’s the person who took it who’s fault it is but that doesn’t mean you should still allow the sale of it. And porn is shown to be just as damaging as drugs, even stimulating the same portion of the brain. So you are right in saying it is the persons fault for getting addicted but it is also the person who provides it as well. …

He is honestly displaying feminism perfectly right there. “Men need to man up and be responsible for their actions. Them and them alone. No mercy.” But at the same time they say, FeministVictimVoice “oH WoE iS mE!
