We got married at 20, had our kid in 2022, she asked for divorce 2 weeks ago after being separated since february, i never once cheated; or been abusive or anything, I know im far from perfect but good Luck finding better...im very bitter right now

Same exact situation, been fighting my ass off to salvage anything to no avail...stay strong, I am so gratefull to this sub and the people in it, I joind à couple of weeks ago and Just reading other peoples expériences and having their feedback helps so much.

They are telling me in good faith to "help" me move on by showing how much of a bad person she is... they know I am struggling with all of this considering that we have à 3 yo, but Yes I get your point and think it is valid, thank you !

She is already abroad, lawyers both here in europe and were she Went right now are pro mother, and honestly if I take full custody (that would be my dream) u dont think my daughter would live it down well, she is very attached to her mom since she used to spend most of her time with her, and my job is very demanding so I would only really be there evening and week-ends, thats no life for à 3 year old, after à long réflection truth must be said that she is better off with her mom than me for now.…

Asked lawyers in our country of résidence and in the country she Went, looks like she can... I could however go and do the same but both lawyers asked me to think about my daughter well being, seing as her mom has à school and my work is very demanding it is best if she stays with her...

I asked her that we take couples therapy she refused, she does understand the impact on children as the business she owns abroad is à small school... not sure about the finances part but I think she experts Child support and whatnot... I dont even recognize her anymore
