2	Advice on writing a CV? English is not my main language, there might be mistakes. Having a solid CV is essential since it's the first impression you make. Keep in mind I am an EU graduate student so my CV lay out will be different from the CEO or GM CV. I however have not yet been rejected when I applied for a job. There are two things that come to my mind, first off, she just arrived back in the country and she wants to meet up with her friends which is fine. The second thing is that you called this meeting a 'date'. Did she know this it was an official date? If not, you haven't made it clear enough.
