For anyone wondering; this is completely legal and there's nothing her bank will do about it. Applications like CashApp are not apart of your banks ecosystem and transactions which are not fraudulent are not protected by FDIC insurance. She lost her money and there's nothing that's going to be done about it. That's why using applications like CashApp are dangerous.

“The district attorney will make the determination if the male should be charged or if it was self-defense,” Filippi said. The girl declined medical attention. Man bad, girl good.

Because their entire lives they've been told "boys can't hit girls" so they act up with the wrong dude and never expect what's coming. I don't think any person should touch another person without their consent. But if a woman rolled up on me and started hitting me? You better believe I'd defend myself. I don't care if you have a vagina or not.

Yall need to stop using Chivalry if you're not going to use it correctly... It's a code of ethics for Knights and not a single of its rules even says the word "Woman" let alone is about women. Thou shalt believe all that the Church teaches and thou shalt observe all its directions. Thou shalt defend the Church. Thou shalt respect all weaknesses, and shalt constitute thyself the defender of them. Thou shalt love the country in which thou wast born. Thou shalt not recoil before thine enemy. Thou s…

It's not symbolic. The judge effectively gave a life sentence. 99 years is probably just the de facto life sentence in Texas.

Not only that, but she's lived her entire life beyond the wall. Why would (outside of the context of that scene) anyone think she actually knew the history of Westeros?

Influence of religion. Know another place that allows you to marry off 14 year olds? The Middle East. Bazinga!

feminism isn't about hating men or blaming them lol tell that to feminists, the vast majority of the younger ones seem to have missed that memo.

This is actually a really good turn of events. When she's evaluated and found to definitively not have a mental illness then the judge is just going to see that as an attempt to subvert a sentence. He/she probably isn't going to go easy on her. That and it sets precedence that claiming "mental illness" in cases like this is bullshit.

I really don't think so. The woman suffrage movement (and others) had every right to focus solely on women--as they were an oppressed minority. But that's not really the case anymore (IMO, anyways). We have an expectation of diversity even in fields which aren't diverse. Which is...dumb. The Feminist movement these days has devolved from "women deserve equal rights!" to "take rights away from men so women are superior because we, as a gender, haven't always been equal!" Susan B. Anthony is a rea…

I mean, it's not as if I'm trying to say Feminism is evil, or something. Men and women should be treated equally as people. But if your only attachment to your movement is through its name, then you're movement is of no value. So I really think a true feminist is someone who realizes that calling yourself a feminist doesn't automatically lend you credibility in the avenue that you believe in equal rights. You have to be cognizant to the fact that if you're entirely for one group to the point whe…

Feminism is inherently anti-equality. No matter how you slice it. The movement is there to ensure that Women are treated equally to Men--but is completely silent for any situation in which Men are unequal to Women. Saying that Feminism is for equality is the same as saying Stalinism is for freedom. It's empirically not true by any measure other than face value to those who consider themselves apart of that group.

I love humor. I even think calling people cunts, under the right circumstances can be hilarious. But would you call someone a cunt at your grandmothers funeral, or little brothers high school graduation a cunt then complain that people can't take a joke? There's a time and a place. Especially so when you want to be taken seriously. I think you're entirely forgetting that. The end of the response in the image is nothing but a childish crack against anyone who has a vagina simply for the reason th…

This is a serious sub about MensRights. Not calling women cunts because it's funny. That's on the same level of third wave feminists saying all men are rapists then wonder why they're not taken seriously.

This bitch will have a new phone and a new number. She will need a new username, new email address, new telephone number, new credit card number, and new mailing address (tied to the credit card) for everything to work right. Not all that easy--but essentially everything Uber could have done.

Because if you call the police in the Bronx, and say "I have a belligerent woman in my vehicle who is threatening to assault me," they'll kindly say, "We'll send someone out as soon as we can--in about 45 minutes." Some of you people replying to this post need a reality check. No matter how much of a cunt she was being, driving her to the police station against her will and refusing to stop if she asked would be unlawful detention; Unlawful detention means keeping in custody unlawfully. Under cr…

Sorry, but this isn't true at all. If you actually read the Twitter TOS they can ban any account for just about bullshit these days. If they said anything which made someone even so much as feel uncomfortable then Twitter could ban them for that. I think people forget that Twitter is a private organization... They can literally do whatever the fuck they want with their platform. I'm not advocating what's been done here--I just think it's stupid to throw around conjecture when you have absolutely…

This is actually a larger issue than people make it out to be. The criticism of the poster in question is that there are exactly two adults in this picture and exactly one are being held to standards of responsibility--which could ruin their entire lives over a stupid mistake they both made. The argument is that consent cannot be given while intoxicated so if intoxicated and consent is given the woman can't be held responsible for saying it was okay. But you as a man can have your entire life le…

Because the movie is terrible on its own merits. We even predicted it to be a bad film. What did Hollywood do with that information? Call everyone misogynists and farther removed people from wanting to see it.

It needs to be a crime all on its own. The very fact that it's legal to defame someone off of no evidence and possibly even get them arrested strictly from accusation is beyond my understanding.

Um. No. That's obviously not what I meant. If the officer isn't doing what they're supposed to be doing, it benefits the public. If the public isn't doing the right thing, it benefits the officer. If the officer isn't doing what they're supposed to be doing, how is it benefiting them personally to have footage of their misdeeds available to their superiors? Same with the public. Expedient trial if you have footage.

It would be harmful to Reddit's business model to start banning quality subs willy-nilly. Reddit still isn't making a profit. They're expenses far outweigh any money gained through advertising and Gold sales. If we so much as make a single investor think about pulling funding, then we've won. Cooler heads nothing. This is a fight that Reddit cannot win.

Girl 3: The one that got away. HB8, Met her and then a few days later said "Hey, gimme your number, we're going out next week." She gave me her number but seemed hesitant. Ended up ignoring my texts. First real rejection, stingsbro. She stood you up because you were a dick. Being confident is fine, and saying shit like we're going on a date is really risky to begin with. Some women get off on stuff like that. Other women, like this one, regard you as an idiot and never want to speak to you again…
