That's a big difference you so lightly brush over. She persuaded a crowd to harm, but she had no control of the severity of the damage done. By hiring a hitman you do have the control provided he does exactly as requested. She shouldn't be charged more (if caught) if the hitman then kills another person. Anyway she was charged with second degree murder, which is exactly what she is guilty of. You also got to concider the differences of mandatory sentence per state. In Virginia this is 5-40 years…

Essentially someone playing hard-to-get (possibly unintentionally) whilst (either) one of you being in the friendzone, but without having received any form of rejection (yet). As most things have already been mentioned, standards. If a guy has a history of sleeping around a lot or having had a lot of relationships in the past then to me his value drops considerably. If you set high standards for your potential SO it shows you value yourself. Also friendly unavailability as opposed to desperation.
