I think it would be cool actually, as long as it was well thought out and done with genuine good intentions. I'm not sure what the stigma is with single fathers adopting though. I'm looking into it myself and everyone I've mentioned to has been supportive.

So bars are responsible for people receiving too much alcohol and driving drunk but they're obligated to serve alcohol to pregnant women? What if th pregnant woman drinks too much (because it's discrimination to stop serving her) and then drives drunk and kills someone?

I don't argue with women because they either cheat or they can't use logic. So I guess I'd assume this woman sucks as a lawyer.

You can adopt as a single man through foster care, I'm looking into it myself.

Polyamory has existed since the beginning of time. Just because we're in the Information Age and hear about things more often doesn't mean they're happening more often or that they are new. People have been declaring that society is going to hell for as long as language has existed. People still do so because they interpret things to fit their biases and refuse to question their beliefs. So I will also ask what does this have to do with Mgtow? All of these "the world is doomed" and "women are al…

Actually polygamy is still a doctrine of mainstream Mormonism. When they "outlawed" polygamy, they made it clear that they were doing so because it wasn't needed at that time (meaning they were forced into it by the government) but leaving the door open for its return. One can also be a spiritual polygamist because men can be "sealed" to more than one woman (meaning they'll all live as spouses in heaven), they just can't be married to them both at the same time on earth.

This is painfully true. I would add that they don't just want you married, they want you married specifically to another Mormon. This creates a dynamic where you have spouses that keep each other in check. It's harder to question things if your spouse felt her eternal salvation would be compromised because you questioned things (to those who don't know, Mormons believe they have to be married to another Mormon in order to be granted access to the first class version of heaven- so you have to mar…

I'm a former Mormon and my family is mostly still Mormon and I got this same "you're being selfish for not dating" argument from one of them. I then asked him if he felt dating and marriage was some sort of charity. He said no, but that I was being selfish for not sharing my love and other things I had (meaning resources). So I responded with something about his view being socialistic and I mentioned Bernie Sanders. As you may know, Mormons are bred to be right-wing robots so I could just see th…

That could've been downvoted because it's useless content. I mean, what's the point of that post?

How about raising them with critical thinking skills and the ability to reason and let them decide their own beliefs?

Is this a real show? If it wasn't live action I'd swear it was a bit from Family Guy.

Even worse if they are with another woman. They MUST walk side by side no matter what, and if they take up 3\4 of the sidewalk to do so then it's everyone else's problem. They're not adjusting!

I think instead of splitting the first bill, whoever asks should pay. It's less awkward that way. However, this is with the expectation that if the man asked for the first date, he shouldn't go more than 1 more date without the woman asking. Or better yet, don't waste your time on dating at all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
