Yes i absolutely agree on that, but making it so obvious? I once read that if a dj (supposedly the resident one) can make women dance, then he/she can call himself/herself a dj. Why do i say this? Because if you offer a great service, people will come to you without the need of the cited tactics. Now combine this with a properly managed club and boom. I am also aware, though, that most of club owners just look for profit, so i know how hard it is to fight this.

I worked in a club, so i know that the owner didnt even remotely care about the customers, it was just like "This is the price, get in or get lost". not patronizing these places the best way to institute change? Not going to happen. Unfortunately, unlike people like me and you who recognize how unjust these economic tactics are, there are people who just pay without thinking twice.
