3 months affair after we been 18 years together and three kids, moved AP in to our house week after we told kids of divorce and actively encouraging them to see him as their new father and doing all of the things we did as a family couple of months before that.. oh and yeah reported me to the CPS, fabricated evidence and now I am fighting to see my kids and they cry because they want to spend more time with me.. so yeah.. that..

I am just 2 months post divorce but had sex for first time after 18 years with another and it was great. Like imagine the other person want to have sex with you and much as you want to have sex with them! Its amazing!

I think the statistics say like 75% of divorces are initiated by the woman but it rises to 90% if they are college educated.

Very similar situation for me and stbxw dropped the bomb two weeks ago. There are a lot of good advice here but in my opinion take all with a pinch of salt, all situations are different. Stay strong brother!

Yeah me too. We live in an expensive area and she can afford a smaller townhouse while I can only afford an apartment which sucks a bit but not the end of the world.

I am but I know it's not all good and I don't agree with all. Personally I much more relate to Jordan Peterson and his views on family and commitment. But all of what you are saying are true! I'll keep it in mind.

Wow.. this was a great read! I am working and hoping on this as well! It just hit me right now...imagine coming home to someone that are actually genuinely happy to see you and talk to you. Someone who seeks intimacy naturally! Maybe even life can get better.. that is my one goal now! Better father, better person and better life!

What do I know.. maybe there has been someone else but this guy got a divorce 1y ago (his wife initiated) and it's my son's friends dad and they only really started to hang out during spring.

Yeah she definitely does feel this. A lot of shame and guilt. She has been crying a bit around the situation. I am not sure how long it has been going on but it's my son's best friends dad, who got a divorce last year and our kids didn't really start hanging out until January/feb so don't think it's been longer than that but I also know that she has coworkers that been encouraging her (male ones) but stupidly enough I always trusted her. Yeah, I am a bit ashamed for thinking that I am on my way …

Thanks! It really helps hearing your kind words. We both are a bit concerned about the kids and are talking about getting a small appartement closeby so the kids stay in the house 100% and we switch in and out, just until the very poor market changes here in Sweden. It feels okay to do so. Ripping the kids up from their stable life will make things harder for me as well.

Thanks mate! Already working out in the gym a bit but this really pushed me into shredding some of that excess fat, that tbh is more than I want. I feel I have the motivation to do it and it helps my sanity!

I am sorry to hear that you are going through the same thing! I am in Sweden, so not US. I am not sure yet but I believe it is not as much as a war here. But after reading the replys here and more posts last night I really feel as you say that my biggest love got turned into an enemy over a few days and that is a big chock to me!

I really needed to read this. It feels so spot on! A question, like all dating or even dating specifically just to get laid? I heard a lot of friends said I need to just get laid to get my self esteem up a bit now when it is all time low.
