The guy openly talked about how to sex traffic women, also assaulted and raped a girlfriend and bragged about it openly both to her (when confronted), and on stream. Later he went back and denied it all once he started getting heat for it. It definitely wasn't a misunderstanding.

The problem is that 'dominant' has a lot of different meanings. Some women will use that to describe a 'traditional' man thinking primarily of finances and chivalry, others will use it to describe an aggressive man who takes charge of everything and puts her in her place, and then everything in between. It's not easy to know what that means without digging into it with each person.

Sure. So when you do it there's a good reason, but when other people do it it's because they're 'bad'? Do you see how convenient that is? This is an example of the fundamental attribution error by the way, it's a very common cognitive bias. The fundamental attribution error refers to an individual's tendency to attribute another's actions to their character or personality, while attributing their behavior to external situational factors outside of their control. In other words, you tend to cut y…

I don't care about it in and of itself, but how many people a person has been with always tells you something about a person, even if it's really mundane. A high body count of someone who is sex positive, self assured, careful, and hygienic is not even close to a problem. The same body count on someone who behaves erratically on a date, comes on super strong, and seems sloppy when it comes to condom use is a yellow/red flag depending on other factors. I've only been with 4 people and I'm in my m…

This is the primary issue I think. It sounds like a "what about" implicit attack on women's issues. I think you get a better hearing if you make sure you "yes, and" instead of "but" people when bringing this up. And it's better to bring it up independently than to seemingly bring it up as a response to women bringing up SA first.

Yes. The difference is usually confidence. People are attracted to confidence. 90% of nice guys get to know women as friends first. Dickheads make their intentions known from the start, but usually also hide the worst parts of themselves. It's quite natural to respond more romantically to the person actively pursuing you than to the person who's just "nice to you" as a friend.

Whelp...there's your problem: you have an inherent bias against women. It's clear as day. You wish society wasn't so sexist...while being quite sexist yourself.

All I can say is what I say to people trying to get away from videos showing women being entitled and bad or any other RP content. You have to purge your feed. It may seem like the whole internet is full of this content but trust me it isn't. I personally almost never see it. The feminists and women I follow don't make that content because they've already gone through that phase. If this is what you're seeing you need to click away and always find the "Do not recommend" or "show less of this" op…

I'm not sure what you're watching but "the female gaze" isn't normally discussed in terms of dating and whether or not you're likely to have women attracted to you. It's a media analysis type thing which is about what women like IN MEDIA. I would argue it's not at all meant to be used to inform your understanding of what women find attractive in real life. The jawline stuff especially doesn't sound like a female gaze thing, it sounds like incel and redpill stuff which is based on junk science ab…

I mean I didn't think this was ever actually disputed. What's disputed is the implications of that pickiness, in what manner are they picky (looks vs. money) and whether or not it's "justified." What is disputed is the idea that women are super picky based on looks and money and that they "don't know what they want." But realistically that applies to men too. The only difference is men are looking for both quick sex and a well situated partner but it usually isn't as important to them. Does that…

The key to avoiding this is to avoid all the media that pushes this narrative. I honestly never see this stuff because I click away and then give feedback to say I'm not interested. It's much healthier. I don't feel insecure because the content I view doesn't show these lies that fill people with anxiety.

It's a numbers game. The main hindrance toany individual man in dating is having the confidence to approach/ask and be shot down dozens or hundreds of times. Because the red pill gives these guys confidence to approach women (it's a negative confidence, a kind of contemptuous manipulative scheming confidence) they can be successful because at the end of the day dating is a numbers game. Yes it's about compatability, but your best chance of finding someone compatible comes from putting yourself o…

They don't think it's hypocritical because, on a basic level, hypocrisy implies some sort of equality between two parties. It's not hypocritical for adults to drink alcohol and tell their kids they can't drink and it's "bad for them." Because adults and kids aren't equals and the relationship is one of care and education not equality in all things. For these RP guys women and men are fundamentally different so to them there's no hypocrisy because they don't view us as equals in the same category…

Yep. And since so many of the men claiming women get with toxic men are themselves deeply toxic but can't see it and genuinely think they're "nice guys" it's hard to believe their definition of toxic.

You're missing the point. They're saying that this is the "narrative" about women that men believe. Yeah no one knows what they want. But since men believe that basically all women don't know what they want they ignore all the hundreds of times women tell them explicitly what they want. Since women don't know what they want it's easier, usually subconsciously, for a man to interpret her words and actions only through the lens of what he wants. "She wants sex? I want sex. Cool" "She doesn't want …

Always have been they just increased the frequency of such rubbish in recent years. I stumbled on them years ago but every time they touched on feminism or anything like that they went way off the rails. I could see what they were hiding so I moved on. Not surprised they are capitalising on this now.

The die hard actual RP people are a fraction of 1% I'd expect. However the wider cultural impact is more far reaching and more insidious. Many of these talking points and concepts filter into non-RP spaces and groups. So while you may not have that many self avowed RP adherents, there is a fairly broad effect I think.

There's a subsection of society which is obsessed with material wealth, status, and desireabiltiy. They bully each other and constantly compete for attention from the opposite sex. These people don't have real romantic relationships, and even worse, not even any real friendships. They're the sort whose whole interaction with their friends is talking shit about and insulting each other. Yes, everyone does this to an extent, but I mean this is all they do. When your entire social world is composed…

Hasn't happened to me. I think it's more common in relationships between people who both heavily subscribe to traditional gender roles. The types who make a point of posturing about how they need a "feminine woman" and "a man to take charge". Since none of my friends or family are like that I haven't experienced this issue personally.

Have you read any feminism? If you're entire view of feminism is based off what you "heard" about it via RP then you may not have an accurate view of it.

No truth to it whatsoever. It also directly contradicts RP ideology which stresses how much men desire youth etc. There are differences in the way the genders love, but this isn't it.

Of course but it will be extremely generic and obvious. The problem with this question is when people ask for dating advice they're usually looking for a formula, or a dialogue tree. These can be useful to build confidence but overall almost certainly perform barely above average. If you're in the "casual sex" game then of course advice is different because you're not looking for a genuine connection, just the best methods to trick people into sex. Even then it's clearly almost entirely a number…

Most likely because 1) cultural expectation 2) men tend to make more anyway 3) Many men who don't work would not do housework or raise children Number 3 is very important and has been empirically supported a lot. It does happen, but overall when a woman out earns her partner and the couple aren't explicitly in a progressive no gender roles relationship, the man will do even less housework than if he was working. At least for men there's a give and take in that situation, but most women who've ex…

Depends what is meant by 'provider'. Women tend to make less than men on average, and the older someone is the more likely they are to settle down. This "fact" can be explained by those two combined factors without women ever "deciding" to pick a beta bux provider over an alpha fuckboi.

Why ask that? How does this stuff get into the mainstream. Look up any attractive woman and see her age. There's a solid chance she's over 25. "The wall" is the stupidest myth among many stupid myths pushed by red pillers. It doesn't exist.

I think the main issue with your argument is you're conflating individual womens' relationship choices with the feminist movement more broadly. You say you 'left the feminist movement but believe in their principles. Well, I suspect you just need to look for a different group of feminists. You say you became disillusioned. You sound like pre-Hajj Malcolm X telling white people there's nothing they can do to help the movement and sinking into reactionary black nationalism. Even if he had excellen…

Patriarchy is a system of domination and control that is uninterested in consistent morality. This is very very common in authoritarian type systems. The systems teaches you to make rules to maximise your power and control, hold people to a high standard..and then break those rules in a heartbeat if it will help you maintain power and control. In a system like that Tate knows that it's both in his interest to say women are property - for his fans - and to treat them as such. For the women in his…

Yep. The main reason 'single motherhood' is bad for kids is the economic and social consequences of that. Being in a rich single parent household with good family ties will produce a well rounded child. There is no 'instinct' to miss a male presence (although it does seem to have some effects on age of menarch and sexual debut, it's hard to divorce the latter from social influences as well),

Yep. I wish people truly understood the meaning of 'correlation doesn't mean causation'. Most of these relationship studies simply highlight a correlation and leave the audience to come up with the, usually incorrect, conclusion. I suspect the main reason for the result in the headline is that there's so much misogyny and hate directed at women who have multiple sexual partners. It may even be the case that their future husbands resent them in some way for not being virgins, thus making the marr…

Sorry but this is precisely the kind of "close to but not actually an expert" stuff that produces the most rank pseudoscientific BS (JBP is a classic example of this with his lobster analogy). I mean, it's usually poor practice to read something over 100 years old to gain insight into social topics of today. Most of those works have been thoroughly debunked. What you may be missing is that a simple 'logical' explanation doesn't make it true. There's very little empirical backing for those views. It's mostly just people observing animals and then copy-pasting their behaviour onto humans. It's a slightly more sophisticated version of the Alpha/Beta Male myth which itself is based on a s…

I think you should look into BDSM and polamory to get a feel for what conscious and responsible dating and non-traditional relationships are about. Lots of heterosexual dating is based on really conservative, sex negative, and misogynistic beliefs about the gender roles of men and women. 'Casual sex' as it's framed in today's society is still rooted in that kind of culture. It drips with objectification as well as a kind of zero sum game between men and women. Like for a woman to 'win' at a rela…

Yep. All research on human hierarchies shows they are context dependent. We're a bit past the school days where being smart automatically made you lame and uncool. As a teacher I can see the groups forming in the classroom as people seek out friends or people they know are good at a certain task. But I teach science. Those same people who are 'alphas' in my class probably aren't as popular in art for example. Alpha and beta male ideology is for video game characters and anime protagonists, not r…

I don't think it's treating someone like a sex object just because sexual thoughts go through your head. As long as you treat them with respect in real life what goes on in your head is your business. It's not diresepecful or dehumanising to be physically and yes sexually attracted to people, that can include our friends. I fully understand that there's a lot problematic and dehumanising ways that men see women in the public eye, but I'm not convinced your personal thoughts are actually a part o…

Play to your strengths. Why are you so focussed on being good at 'texting'? Is it just to get nudes? If so then fine focus on it but otherwise maybe just do what comes naturally rather than focusing on one single aspect of dating and relationships.

As a rule women are less obsessed with dick size than men are. Ironically a lot of men watch straight porn and get insecure because the dicks are huge and they assume that's what women like. However, men are still the overwhelming market for porn and big dicks are actually what men like seeing. Porn aimed at women tends to have more average sized dicks and much less focus on the dick as well - they show lots more sensual touching etc. Overall I think women want something that will touch the side…

My question to you here would be, is their expression of it really necessary? Do you really think most of these guys are only misogynistic and are completely agnostic when it comes to race? It's total BS. It was based on a study of captive wolves and the author himself retracted it when he saw that they don't behave like that in the wild. But even more importantly, you cannot just extrapolate behavioural explanations from one animal to another. Humans have insanely complex social patterns and to boil it down to a binary or ternay system is baby brain playground stuff. Because many many many men are more interested in sex than a relationship. That includes men who will get into a 'relationship' but either cheat, or basically just tolerate the woman while she lives in his space so he has sex on demand but won't actually see her as a true and equal partner. So while it may technically be easier for a woman to 'get sex'. That ignores so many other factors as to be almost laughably irrelevant. I'm going to draw a bad analogy. Alright seriously I assume you mean "to a greater extent than in western animation" because if you look at any female character in a cartoon or game they're usually very sexualised too. However, you're correct that there seems to be more open and direct sexualisation, there's often a perv character in pretty much every show. Because like most things fomented in conservative echo chambers, it's not fact-based but faith based, with a massive dose of personal anecdotes and cherry picked 'stats' masquerading as 'evidence'. Also, most people have a lot of sunk costs in this ideology. They also want to face the possibility that it's really their fault, or that their loneliness is mostly bad luck and coincidence. I don't see how these situations are linked. It sounds like you're implying that in just any random relationship the sex for money transaction is always there and the more money you give her the more sex you get. This is simply incorrect for most relationships. Of course there are situations where the woman is economically insecure and reliant on a man, and so they may enter into a relationship like that explicitly or implicity, but it's far from the norm. Generally this means passive or just overly eager to please. I used to be this way and I think a lot of young guys are. recent research has found that adult and teen brains work differently. Adults think with the prefrontal cortex, the brain’s rational part. This is the part of the brain that responds to situations with good judgment and an awareness of long-term consequences. Teens process information with the amygdala. This is the emotional part. I dunno about the University of Rochester, but as a teacher I have several mega-fucktons of anecdotal evidence to confirm this.

People get bored of people they aren't friends/partners with. If you're cute and attract a lot of ladies, and other people you know do too, you're probably seeing a lot of shallow relationships based on superficial attractions. Sex and looks are good but as you say, they don't last. Real relationships are built on shared values, interests, and humour. It's a shit show all around. And I disagree that Forrest "deserved better." It's made clear in the movie that Jennie was abused at home in some way, which is why she ended up so fucked up. But it's also sort of implied she deserved it because of all the "bad decisions" she made (I'm not saying they weren't bad, just pointing out the loaded nature of assuming we all have the option of making good and bad decisions at every turn instead of sometimes having nothing but bad options).

I think this stereotype developed mostly from rich tourists and or troops who found compliant local women to marry. They assumed this was part of their "culture", but a more sober reading is that these women were destitute and recognised money and power as a way out of their predicament. This changed when child abductions and murders increased. My instinct tell me abductions and murders didn't get more common, they just got better publicised plus people were having fewer kids and at an older age. Anything could happen. At the end of the day governments do what they can to maintain order and benefit the rich. They may raise taxes, or they may simply reduce the benefits and rights we fought for in the last century. No pensions, no public education, no public healthcare. Oh I'm sure they'll call it "public" but it will be in name only. Our best method to fight back is to use the methods we used before. Community organising and labour organising. Look into it.

Um. The most prominent proponents of transphobic legislation are right wing. A very large portion of people into redpill spew explicitly right-wing views of women and men's gender roles and genetic predispositions. It's in no way unreasonable to link these things together.

The greatest failure feminism is that it did not free of gender roles for men at all. As a male feminist this is the main thing I try to get across to people. BUT it doesn't mean committed feminists don't actually try to do this. It's just that everyday "feminists", people who just call themselves that but don't read or research it, tend to practice a very shallow form of feminism. You're comparing college student life to working adult life. It's difficult to draw a fair comparison because so many factors have changed. I bet you and whoever you're courting have a lot less free time to be dating and having lots of casual sex. I could be wrong but I don't think there's a good thing to dwell on when you're comparing such drastically different life stages.

Don't be needy =/= never talk to her, drop her halfway through things, and ignore her a lot. "Less is more" is a silly thing to apply to dating. Get to know her and judge how much attention your partner needs/likes. Plenty of women hate playing games and will drop you if youre a time waster.

Actually, the statistics show that it's men who watch the majority of porn and it's men who like watching big dicks splitting women in half, thus it is men's demands that have led to the porn trope of massive dicked guys. If you take the time to watch so called female friendly porn you'll see that there's very little focus on dick size and much more on foreplay, sensual touching etc.

The main erogenous zone is the clitoris. In fact, most PIV sex is indirect clitoral stimulation because the clit is not just a nodule on the outside but a large internal organ that can be accessed via the vagina too (albeit indirectly). In fact, women who's clitorises are closer to their vaginas report a higher likelihood of orgasm from sex, can't remember the study. But once again this suggests that it isn't really the vaginal penetration so much as it is ability to stimulate the clit. These is…

Also, random one night stands are often physically dangerous for women and sexually frustrating. Going out with just any random guy can be dangerous if you haven't had a chance to gauge his temperament. And sexual compatibility is much more important for most women. It take 5-6 years (can't remember exactly) on average for a woman to have her first orgasm, and some women never do. This is definitely not the case for men. While men's ability to be satisfied is often overstatd, the relative differ…

Lol. You literally just self reported on the fact you yourself don't even reach the bare minimum. Nice one. Thanks for the live demonstration.

Female friends have been very supportive, or at least no more or less supportive than male friends in my experience.

There it is. The reason people don't want to date BP men. She made a very reasonable well thought out comment and you twisted it into the most uncharitable interpretation imaginable. THIS is why ppl won't date you. Because you apparently are SO toxicly negative, not to mention rude, that you'll shoot down all good advice as soon as it's given to you. Sorry, but you're clearly not looking for real answers if this is your take.

Women are people just like men with different interests and tastes. You don't have to be perfect. Women aren't perfect either. You need to GET OUT. Join a club or something. Volunteer. Talk to people. It may not work out and you might feel insecure but the more people you talk to, the better you will get at it. Sitting holed up by your computer is a self fulfilling prophecy. You will become more and more bitter, and you definely will not meet girls. This right here. Ultimately you need to try to…

Pretty sure the wall refers to attractiveness as a proxy for fertility, but as much as they talk about fertility none of these guys are looking to procreate. They're DTF with the most youthful legal (or semi-legal) adult possible. It's about appearance.

Really? You think the dad bod guy's are all super self aware and never hold women to different standards? Come on. Also, dad bod doesn't in any way connote "likes to eat." Like dad bod is pretty average no matter your take on food. It's not some sign that you're a fatty who spends their time lazing around and eating. Plenty of fit people have dad bods. Fitness is not just about body shape alone.

You're forgetting that plenty of women are fitness addicts too. Just find someone who does the same thing and there won't be issues.

This is the best method. It's been shown that merely by approaching people in a confrontational way and trying to debunk their ideas, you simply make them more determined to be right. Asking honest questions to slowly pick holes (without seeming like that's your goal) is much more effective.

Quite possibly. I'm actually very sex positive and pro-(ethical)porn but there's definitely an argument to be made that we're sold a fake reality where "everyone" is having sex. The irony is people, and yes even young people, are having much less sex than in years past.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
