I have a shit ton of women friends and find it easier to make friends with them than men.

I've seen a couple arguments surrounding sexbots: A) they are the pinnacle of objectification of women This is true, although one could argue that it wouldn't necessarily be as bad if they released a male equivalent. Or my personal idea is to just have them be snap-on type attachments, you can give it any parts you want in place. Still is generally objectifying humans, but that's not really feasible to stop (yet). B) sexbots are an afront to traditional courting and relationships This is true, b…

But it destroys the idea that you need to be tall to get attractive women.

And this is not applicable to men going after women 🙄

Why should sex be inherently romantic?

But that wasn't the point of the post. It was a counter to the people complaining how selective women are.

And the majority of men in this hellhole subreddit probably don't go to the gym particularly often.

They will, but there's an issue of getting trapped by that. I'm sure everyone has seen at least a few of the /r/NiceGuys posts where they seem nice (if a bit creepy) and then become pieces of shit quite rapidly. Knowing a lot of women, I know that a lot of them are terrified of that situation but they don't stop being nice until they're dating. We all know at least a few people who had that and were then chronically abused until they escaped.

Ah... So yeah, still quite young. Not too terribly much younger than me, but enough that there's still probably a lot more highschool influence and thought pattern. Doubly so if you're on the younger end of mid-20s.

It's delusional to expect men to be good people?

I never said I was a man or a woman. Also, being 5'1" and confident is hot. It shows that you are properly comfortable with yourself. It also means I can get tossed around in bed.

It's very purposefully oversimplified. I can't fit much nuance into a reddit post, and more importantly, the people here definitely wouldn't read it. Some of them clearly didn't even read what little I put.

Women don't have more options, but perhaps more agency. Early on in a relationship maybe...

Sex-positive feminism isn't inherently hook-up culture (at least to my understanding) rather, it's about the decoupling of traditional patriarchal institutions of relationships and sex. I treat sex as a fun thing to do. It holds no inherent emotional value. I have sex with friends occasionally because it's fun and a decent way to show affection. Some friends stop at holding hands, or hugging, or forehead/cheek kisses. I just... Don't really have that boundary. Of course I respect others' boundar…

I'd say women tend to put a lot more effort into dating, at least compared to what men think they do. But that's because almost all women put that effort in so it's not seen as effort. Like makeup, a lot of women put some makeup on that looks natural. It doesn't look like they're wearing makeup, and so many women do (and those that do tend to do it consistently) that it's hard to tell.

That's fair, much fun as it is to poke the incel bear that is this subreddit, I don't want people to doxx themselves. Given the context of what I said and your response, are you perchance quite young? Because the things that more mature people typically want are not what you said. Emotional intelligence, actual intelligence, sure, but physical attractiveness isn't particularly high, at least compared to how men think it works. Income is important, but not as important as some people think. It's …

I used hyperbole throughout because this topic is usually mired in such somber tones. Apparently people didn't grasp that (see: the guy who thought I was being serious about negative body fat percentage).

We do! Usually it's friends who are horny and want "safe" sex. Safe meaning they know that there won't be social fallout and they don't have to risk a stranger.

"I think that women view most men as neutral or blank before whatever actions a man takes to increase or decrease their standing; and I think most men hate that." Is literally what they said. I was responding to that. The rest of what was said is just to facilitate that point. I wasn't belittling all men, I was belittling the incredibly narrow view of men that they presented. The attitude of neutrality being perceived as negative is absolutely deserving of belittling, it's such a childish and im…

5'1 lol, I was hoping you'd give it up because it does not help your case to know my height. And no, I wasn't saying that just having good skincare is what gets you laid. It can help a tad and fits in with the general self-care schtick I explained.

Maybe if most men weren't such twats they wouldn't have a hard time. But from personal experience, there's a lot of sexual harassment or worse that happens, and the extremely vast majority of men do nothing. If you're a piece of shit, you'll struggle to find people to date.

Some women have high standards, I know a few. But some women also have low standards. People on here either don't reach the bar for getting a date, or pretty much only are interested in people out of their league. Actually, given what I've read in these replies, I'm guess a combination of the two is the most common.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 09:27 PM

Not trolling. Well, not really. I do unapologetically believe these things, but I came here with the knowledge that it's largely populated by incels and incel adjacent folks. I was bored and wanted to get some "fun" responses. The guy advocating for women's rights to be revoked was particularly titillating.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 09:23 PM

You are all over the place. Anti-monogamy is cool. The rest... Less so. Your point about only being able to get "low attraction" women is kinda the point. If you yourself aren't very attractive, why do people think they deserve to get far more attractive dates. A lot of the people here claim to have faced nothing but rejection, which means either they don't meet the very low bar we agree on, or they're only asking vastly more attractive people out. My money's on both.

Bruh what. You did not just try to apply dating app data to the real world.

Incels are pieces of shit, thus they don't get dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 09:15 PM

That type of rejection isn't because you aren't attractive though, which is why I didn't bring it up. Well, that and it happens equally to women.

Idk who tf Tony Robinson is Yes there are emotions, you would prefer robots? The bar is low I know so many guys who get dates or at least interest from women just by being a touch charismatic and hygienic. Your hypothetical doesn't happen with the hottest men in the world. Being a 7/10 means you get interest, not that you get women throwing themselves at you. Please lay off the Andrew Tate.

I don't believe that you - and most of the people on here - that you're as nice as you think you are, especially when you consider the amount of unironic incels here. There was a guy like 5 minutes ago trying to say that the less autonomy women have, the better.

Pretty much no one. Such a low amount that they're statistically insignificant. I can't fathom someone that unattractive without severe medical issues causing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 08:51 PM

There's a reason I specified repeated rejection. If you've tried only a couple of times, then you may just have gotten unlucky. It's also not nearly as straightforward as that. Different women have different tastes, for one. But also attractiveness isn't a "yes or no" kinda thing. And yes, I'd argue that a lot of men, probably around half don't fit the criteria of "don't be a piece of shit, be hygienic".
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 08:41 PM

Hygienic was meant to cover showering. And yeah... It's not a high bar, that's the point of the post.

This was my first time posting on the subreddit, I assumed people here would read between the lines. Shouldn't have thought so highly of y'all. Confidence is necessary, and not just in dating but in most aspects of adulting. All of my suggestions are quite plainly methods for self-improvement which typically help with self-confidence.

I have seen conventionally not super attractive men, especially who are quite overweight, get dates consistently by being a good person. One of them has been turning dates down for a few months. Not because he found someone to stick with, but because he's enjoying himself, and bettering himself. He's down 70lbs from 320 since deciding to try better himself, but he was getting offers from women far before that. Probably wondering how? He was a genuine and interesting guy. He was learning guitar, …

"Just shower bro" isn't literally just shower. As with a lot of what I said it's a purposeful oversimplification of learning hygiene. Showering is the biggest thing when starting from scratch, but learning how to do skincare, how to take care of hair, other stuff like that. If you don't shower, showering is definitely the best single action you can take, but that isn't the end. If you have long hair (such as myself) learn how to take care of it and make it look good. Don't just douse yourself in…

If most men hate that they need to grow the fuck up. Being treated with neutrality is the baseline. Especially when you think of what most women endure at the hands of men, that neutrality is far more generous than the hostility that they could pick up.

You are not wrong, confidence and assertiveness do help. The "don't be a piece of shit" line is for alluring less deranged women. Yes, there are serial killer stans, but they make up effectively 0% of the population. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that you don't talk to many women if you really think that those things are key to success. Unless you're bastardizing the terms to such an extent that the original definition is rendered meaningless. That's good news because you've apparently neve…

The bar for men is unreasonably low. Figure out yourself first and foremost. Every man can be a 7 if you find the right haircut for your head/body and hit the gym. No one is unsalvageably unattractive. And even if that's been tried, assuming women only give a fuck about looks is beyond stupid. Being a good person and an interesting person is really all it takes.

For real... Topping is fun and all, but getting fucked by a woman is an otherworldly experience to the point that I don't care if I cum; it's just that fun.

What's the issue with sex-positive feminism?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 04:42 AM
3

Yes, because romantic and sexual attraction, while heavily correlated, aren't one and the same. Several of my friends I'd be more than fine with fucking (and have). But I (probably) wouldn't date them. I don't befriend people who I think would cheat.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 04:38 AM

I separate the two. I have a boyfriend, we both are okay with sleeping around. I'll fuck anyone who I think is hot. I have a few friends I wouldn't date for a couple of reasons, but I'll still sleep with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 04:36 AM

That is not really true in my experience. Being kind is necessary for women/AFAB people because if it turns violent, they're fucked. Kindness tends to be better at avoiding said violence than brutal honesty. Women would much prefer to yell and scream and fight back (usually metaphorically) when they're met with unwanted anything - sexual harassment and assault chief among them - but they can't because of the extreme danger that would put them in.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/22 04:25 AM

Do men put effort into dating? In my experience... Not really.
