herbivorous men [ 1 ] " ) , is used in Japan to refer to men with little or no interest in seeking marriage or finding a girlfriend I don't see a requirement that herbivore men are celibate. These herbivore men are actively not participating in the dating pool for a handful of reasons, social and economic. Prostitution is generally legal in Japan already except for p to v. Consider sex work, including something typically portrayed as non-sexual, like the girlfriend experience. A person could gue…

This is a point one finger and there are several pointing back at you statement. Some men are seeking some acknowledgement that their positions in life have been misrepresented in the dating/mating world. This "victimization" is different from women, who are career-victims. You offer a great example of the female perspective, which I summarize as follows: "Look at all the things we have to worry about! How dare you have any complaints about your life, and if you do, they're 100% your fault!"

A guy can get a paternity test at any point in time (after birth) and mommy doesn't need to know. Furthermore, if you split from him you'll be getting one by court order for him to pay support. I'm sorry ladies, your collective whoring has screwed this up for the 5-10 good women remaining. Any man who can trust a woman has no idea just how bad you are, and how bad you're all okay with being. Edit: (after birth)

PSA for dudes - if you're doing things for an available woman that a boyfriend/mate does, (such as helping them move or household repairs), and you are NOT plowing that field, you are in the friend zone and you don't know it. Women ghost because you made a move after correctly assessing that you were performing services/duties for her that a mate would do but misinterpreted her using you as a tool as her having a genuine romantic interest. That shit is awkward.

This opinion may be shared by many people, men or women. This commentary I feel represents the product of an en masse lack of self-awareness on the part of the modern woman. The truth is that women saying things like this are in complete denial of their position. The hottest chicks aren't out there arguing with non-Chads online; They're too busy screwing Chads. I don't agree with the premise of this question. Let's be real - we are all rotting, 100% of the time. You can glow up all you want, but you're older today than you were yesterday. This it true of all people. We are never as attractive as our younger selves, assuming you're in good health for comparison. This is true of all people, not just women. You have to decide if you think that you can live with not being the most attractive person that your partner sees every day. This is true of all peop…

No emotional rant here. I'm a dude. So, what is your position if the law agreed that men shouldn't have financial responsibility? Or, better yet, pre-sex contracts to dictate expected behaviors in the event of unplanned pregnancy?

IMO, the more practical step is to legislate this further with sex contracts so that expectations of all parties involved are discussed prior to intercourse. Then the parties will be forced to discuss potential outcomes of intercourse and both parties will have contractual, legal obligations.

It seems tit for tat. If the woman's biology can make a financial choice for the man, why shouldn't his biology be able to make a choice for her? It's hyperbole, and I truly don't condone violence. I do consider it violence that a night of consent for both parties can result in a woman taking money from a man. Money is earned and costs time that you can't get back. You can put a price on the cost of life in years or dollars that an unwanted pregnancy could cost a person.

Based biology take
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 01:33 AM

I like that you're acknowledging that the issue is rooted in biology. Let's process this with a hypothetical. Say a man and woman consent to sex and the woman gets pregnant. Assume the woman doesn't want to terminate, but the guy does. Is it ok for him to biologically throw her down the stairs until she miscarries? Is it ok if the male biologically spikes her drink with some plan B? The argument is a matter of law in all scenarios.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 01:25 AM
2

Who hurt you? I appreciate that you're acknowledging that men have less control. I'm no deadbeat, and any man who sees logic in the concept of "financial abortion" isn't doomed to be a deadbeat It's wrong to say that this is "the case due to biology". This is a legal matter, plain and simple. Governments will not let a child suffer hunger or homelessness, which costs money. There is a practical case for forwarding those costs to the sperm donor.

The idea of a financial abortion is about the man having a stake in whether a birth happens, but being powerless to influence the outcome post-concepton. This is not about men trying to abandon children. The heart of the argument is that women having total control over an outcome that affects others. A man makes one choice, a pregnancy happens as a consequence, then he's victim to a mutual failure to use contraception, contraceptive device failure, or feminine deception tactics. A woman makes on…

Women typically think of men as intellectually/emotionally less than. This is why you often hear about women "training" men like they're dogs. Women believe that men are not capable of processing emotions in a meaningful way.

Women prefer men who have had a lot of partners because it affirms their decision to be with him. The implications are that he's experienced, he's been vetted by other women and doesn't have major red flags, and other women theoretically would be envious.

"This gets my wonder if this explains the so-called male loneliness "problem". Maybe it is not as much a problem at all, men simply are choosing loneliness over doing free labor for women." I think that most people in general would prefer not to participate in a unidirectional relationship. The male loneliness "problem" as you put it isn't about friendship. You are conflating friendship with the struggles of men who want to be in relationships and are struggling to find an avenue.

I've slept with women and ghosted after. It was never because the sex was the prize. It was because I found out that they had hygiene issues, were pillow princesses, or we simply had other sexual incompatibilities. Ladies you need to understand, you're not easy to break bad news to. It's much easier to cut ties on a nil investment relationship than try and help you learn how to not smell downstairs or wash your ass proper.

This should be cross-posted to r/unpopularopinion. Women are obsessed with being considered equal to men in a household when they constantly choose ridiculous jobs that don't pay the bills. The typical woman has the mentality of a daydreaming child who follows their shitty dreams because they have the luxury of being able to rely on the responsible adult male who is unlucky enough to carry their burden. You can't pay the power bill by cooking for your family and doing your own house chores.

This is a consequence of natural order. When a prehistoric man was hunting, his partner was already on her ass at home eating bonbons, bitching that he doesn't bring home enough food, while also complaining that he doesn't take an active enough role in raising the kids. That's all before she cheats on him with an unemployed man of lesser means.
