It's a sweeping generalisation to assume that manipulative behaviour is not immoral because it occurs on a large scale. Religion is just a form of metaphysical asabiyyah, as something metaphysical, it is beyond reason. It's essentially a social construct. But it's still very important. The issue with philosophy is it cannot be monetised as well as business or science can, meaning there is little incentive to pursue further. It's an important subject due to the skills learnt; something that everyone should be educated in. I find with women, but also men included, that explaining nearly EVERYTHING in their life has foundations through philosophical inquiry passes right over their heads. Even within my philosophy class, people think of the subject as a "doss subject" or a "free pass", and never consider the wider implications of the most intellectual and arguably most impacting subject in history.

I think a very important insight into TRP would be the work of Arthur Schopenhauer and Edmund Husserl. Specifically, Schopenhauer's idea of the world as will argues that through introspection we can understand the world around us, and Husserl's phenomenology seeking to create structures for objective observation of phenomena. Really, REALLY basic as I'm not familiar enough in depth of their works, but central ideas to how we operate.

The rationality isn't logically coherent. Each excuse employes a synthetic argument based on inductive reasoning.
