Lean into that feeling. Ask the people you're talking to about themselves. Then do what you can to flatter them by admitting certain specific things you're working on. Eventually you'll build a good quiver of arrows on a variety of topics when talking to new people. Bonus values if you've been able to apply any of the previous conversations advice to yourself before meeting new people.

Cool. Didn't know that was a thing. Thanks.

Where were YOU when I was 19? "Make daddy some money" is GOLD.

Don't delete this post. It's a great dialogue to have for people to read in the event thru think reading sometime else's experiences holds more importance than collecting their own.

It's like I said. He might be banging his head against a wall over it later. At least he tried. I think we've all been there. Keep on keeping on.

I'm going to file this post away in the "disregard completely." Just because he made mistakes that made YOU uncomfortable (that would have made me cringe, too) doesn't mean he won't learn from it later. Practice makes perfect.

This is in line with what I was thinking. It IS possible that it's weird to her, BUT that she likes it. It's just as likely that it's weird to her and that she DOESN'T like it. I'm not going to test this theory on other 15 year old girls since I love my freedom.

This is what inner game is all about. Some use the term "fake it til you make it." When you understand how this works it is just a matter of finding out where to start "faking it" Practice speaking out loud into a mirror. Use a topic you are knowledgeable about, even if it's something you find "nerdy." Get used to the sound of yourself speaking. The more you speak on things you KNOW FOR A FACT. The faster you become confident in the things you say. It's not about being deceptive. It's about beco…

This was a great read/listen. I love this kind of inspiration. The kind that causes you to completely drop everything until you figure out what exactly your brain is trying to tell you.

This is how I ended up with my current GF of almost 4 years. You have to REALLY not care if failure to close does damage, because it can.

Because I'm an aggressively honest and direct person with a good sense of humor this is (at least used to be) actually my most successful closer in a first contact situation. This is how I wound up with my current girlfriend of 4 years. I have never thought of using it to open, but I KNOW that this works if you have a sincere confidence and the ability to laugh with the girl if she doesn't respond favorably. It has typically lead to good conversations in the times that it hasn't lead to sex.

Considering it's the clueless party calling them that I'd say the interpretation is its own advocate.

This practice has served me well: "I was just kidding! Unless you're serious." (Put on your best game face) "Then I'm dead serious" I can't help you with what your game face looks like. That you will need to practice on your own beforehand. Like any other SUCCESSFUL public speaker.

I agree with this man only because I typically set the ground rules before offering to spoon. She is either %100 DTF OR an enourmously aggressive cocktease.

This took me around 5 years to figure out for myself. Confidence is your sword. Arrogance is your shield.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
