Yeah I have pretty much done #1. I haven't really initiated any contact w/ her in about two weeks. If she invites me out, I'll do #2, otherwise, yeah. I figured since I was forthright with her she would be forthright with me, but I suppose that was too much to expect. I would be fine with being friends - I just wish that she would say so, you know? There are countless dudes out there who lost long term relationships for exactly this reason. I didn't have my shit together then and she was right. Having experienced this, I didn't mess around with another girl again until my career was solid, I had money to blow, and I generally had my shit together.
