I think that would depend of what you mean by 'inherently bad'. I probably shouldn't be the first response, but I think I am the first person here ... and it's not as if the x-TRP guys here are going to go, yes, we are all fundamentally evil people. I think that redpill guys, while definitely acting out of insecurity, social anxiety, etc - I think they were also raised in the same patriarchial society as the rest of us and pre-red-pill or pre unignorable mental affect to themselves, have likely …

This sub seems fairly slow moving and I expect this topic will be on its front page for a while longer. I think this is pretty much what happened to him, getting involved with that girl. She was emotionally manipulative and anyone with higher expectations of people in general probably wouldn't have put up with that, but if that's what he assumed was standard behaviour for women, then why wouldn't he.

To be honest, I have largely stopped interacting with him except when I have to be polite face-to-face. I see him very rarely now as it is. When I have tried to (very mildly) argue against his new viewpoints, he just does this really aggravating, patronising fake chuckle and changes the subject. So I don't feel like there's much I can do, that only the right independent occurrence will wake him up to what a massive idiot he's being.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
