Sure, sure... We're living in a country of law, right? After all, the ruling party has "law and order" in its name. Meanwhile... https://notesfrompoland.com/2020/09/16/polish-court-rules-14-year-old-girl-was-not-raped-because-she-did-not-scream/

You're reaching. Have you seen the discussion under this tweet? The only point people don't agree with is "assuming guilt" not that she's talking about male rapist instead of all rapist. You think "osoby które gwałcą" would be appropriate here? Her main point regards the outdated law where rape victims are dismissed because their skirts were too short - and simply saying "no" is not enough to rule rape in the court of "law" in Poland. https://notesfrompoland.com/2021/04/17/the-legal-definition-o…

That's in relation to polish court rulings where rape victim's dress (skirt lenght) was being discussed in defence of rapist. https://notesfrompoland.com/2021/04/17/the-legal-definition-of-rape-in-poland-needs-to-change-but-so-do-cultural-attitudes/

The first sentence is in the context of war, the one that's currently happening next to Polish border. Russians are the agressors, and as far as I know Russian army doesn't send women to frontline. Making the first sentence gender neutral to include non-existing Russian woman soldiers using rape as weapon would make no sense. You're reaching.

In Polish you cannot use this noun in a neutral form (you would have to make it needlessly worldly and unnatural). It talks about war time rape. In Russian army, women aren't send to frontlines.

So your example that shows it's not true that women experience more sexism is the fact that they received voting rights in US in 1920 (black women in 1965), after more than a 130 years of elections in US that was granted to men?

I'm pretty sure if you ask those 190 people who hate feminism, what feminism is you'll get 190 different definitions, some of them will probably contradict each other. So yeah, it's an abstract construct to them, you can use the word "nebulous" if that's more up your alley (can you give some more information about "concrete constructs"? I don't see it being used in contexts other than literal constructs made of concrete). But to the point, having a common enemy like "feminism" bonds weak and sca…

That's a lot of hate. Maybe it gives some people purpose in life and sense of belonging that comes with antagonising an abstract construct such as feminism.

Congratulations, 85% of this sub hates them, you're in minority. Everything in this article can be applied to this sub. https://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/qvdttv/do_you_hate_feminism/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

I'm sure you would be equally willing to lend someone your kidney for 9 months of dialisys. Nothing major, just lay down, they'll connect some tubes and nine months of uncomfortableness later you'll probably save not one but many lives. What a wonderful world that would be.

Both genders feel shitty at school boys are feeling shittier than girls by some margin That should be the lead for that article
/r/MensRights15/01/21 02:54 PM

I'm not a researcher but the fact that both genders feel shitty at school undermines the theory that it's fully caused by "feminine environment". If my understanding is not correct, this should be called out. By cherrypicking stats, entire thing becomes less reliable.

So by this "whataboutism" you agree that this is a shitty way of presenting data but it's ok because you think your right? Think about that for a second.

You see, this information wasn't mentioned in the article. I had to look up the source to arrive at that number. It wasn't mentioned on purpose as it would put the "scarry" big bad clickbait number from the title in context and propaganda hit pieces don't like that.

It's 61,5% for girls for those who want to see beyond clickbait.

Or maybe some men feel disgusted by gay men? At its basic level disgust stems from fear and self preservation mechanism e.g. disgusting food might be poison, disgusting disease might be contagious. Same doesn't apply for lesbians, they rarely evoke disgust in straight males.

I don't know why homosexuality would be a problem at all, yet homophobia exists. Religion maybe?
/r/MensRights31/03/19 11:48 AM

Feminist might say that this is because of the patriarchy. Gay men are discriminated more than women because lesbians aren't seen as a threat, rather an attraction.

My first thought was that buying house in wife's name when you run a company makes financial sense e.g. taxes, credit score, bankruptcy etc. At least in some countries, not sure about Australia.
