Can we just take a moment to admire how absolutely fabulous that security guard looks?

Well c'mon. Some people are more comfortable with their own kind than others. Like myself, I'm personally scared of most men I don't know we'll due to personal reasons. I would feel safer working with a woman in a confined space because that's how my mind works.Yes, I know it's irrational. But it can't be helped. That might be the case here.

It doesn't send as strong of a message for people to just walk around in normal shoes. And sexual violence against women IS more common than it is against men. I think the profits to this organization went to both sides though.

Well, is masculinism only about men's issues?
/r/MensRights11/04/13 02:45 PM

Hey, man. Way to lump stereotypes together. I am sad to admit that yes, a majority of the feminists think only of women's problems. But not all of us. I try to think about both sides of the argument. Though I will admit, I will instinctively lean more to the side of my biological gender. It's human nature to want to protect those like us, and I know you do it too. Anyway, I'd be happy to discuss men's issues with you as long as you are willing to discuss women's issues with me. Let's keep it on …

Hey now guys, not all feminists are hateful like this. Feminism in itself is generally when a woman is looking for equal rights with men, just like masculinism (I'm sorry, not quite sure if I spelt that right) is when men are looking for equal rights with women. The "feminists" that get the most attention here are batshit crazy bitches. Just please remember we're not all like that.

I see. I read in a book that sleep erections are the body's way of making sure everything still works down there, or something along the lines of that. I feel a little bit more sorry for high school guys. I mean, they don't go through the gross and painful periods we do, but they have certain changes in their body that they can't control and also find embarrassing or difficult to go through. Before this I felt a little snippy at men because I thought that they didn't have to go through anything …

This is a really weird question, but... What's it like to just randomly get an erection out of nowhere? Does it happen a lot or every now and again?

Amen, sister!
/r/MensRights06/02/13 08:22 PM

Yes. Even though it is a bit rarer than male on female rape, it still happens, and far too often to be ignored. I think women should understand what it's like for men to get random erections. I mean, with us, the vagina will produce lubrication instinctively if we see something attractive or even with the slightest bit of stimulation. Like with men and how they get erections if they see something attractive or are stimulated. Sometimes, for both genders, it happens for no reason at all. Furtherm…

We should get rid of pink and blue to represent gender. How about we use a nice shade of purple instead, for both? Purple is a good colour.

I may be androphobic, but I have a reason to be. And even with my fears and past, I want /equality/, like you said :) I hate how the batshit insane "feminists" are given the most attention and give the rest of women's/men's/human rights activists a bad name. There are VERY few people who are really as biggoted as the media says. Sure, sometimes when I read through history books I get upset or angry with how women were treated in the past by men. But that was the past, and this is now. It's time …

Well, to be honest, it really isn't fair to people like me. I won't be getting any money from any man except maybe my father when I get my part of his inheritance. I plan to either date other women or stay alone. Is it too much to ask for an equal paycheck?

Wow... Okay, bitch in the picture. If you know her, yank on her ponytail for me. No man here will deny that men have had superior dominance over women and minorities (not saying that there weren't some periods in certain areas where women had the equal or upper hand, but the majority of history made life easier in most areas for men) for a vast amount of history and in a large number of cultures. However, that was the PAST. GET OVER IT. That history didnt hurt you. Women are no longer treated li…

Well, there are some actual medical uses for birth control some women may need. If it's for a medical reason like irregular hormones or agonizing periods, they should have an aid for that. But if it's just being used as a way to prevent children... You pay for that yourself.

It really shouldn't be... I mean, unless he ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY HAD CONSENTING SEX with her, he had no influence on her choosing to use a sperm donor to have a child.

I forgot to check the comments on this post until now. Reading through most of these comments really makes me smile. I've been hanging out more with my old male friends. Well, as much as I can while having to be homeschooled due to health issues. I even made it far enough to cuddle with a bit with one of my best friends since Kindergarten. Granted we were also cuddling with his girlfriend, but I still felt accomplished. (Yes, my friends and I are rather like sleeping hamsters when it gets cold) …

He's next door at the moment... And I gathered enough courage to fling open the window to shriek at him that I hope he gets castrated with a rusty spoon before going to hide in my room for an hour. But I felt better after I did. I'm trying to get together with the other girl I know that was raped by him, and we're going to the police. Thank you very much for your support.

I've been able to start talking to a few FtM guys. I know that even though they aren't biologically men that I'm still technically talking to a woman, but I think it's a small step. I'm glad that I'm not alone though. Thank you :)

At my highschool they offer psychology classes. AP and regular. I'm a sophomore but I'm able to take the AP classes with the juniors. No, you listen to a recording and lay down with your eyes closed. Well, that's how I did it.

Three weeks ago. I really don't know how it happened. I heard about self-hypnosis in my psychology class, and decided to try to do it to see if it could help my memory. And... It blew up in my face.

We are different when it comes to anatomy. If you want to experience what it's like to have to do pullups as a woman, go buy a bra and stuff it with balloons filled with sand. The weight distribution is different and it gets in the way. Saying that men and women are not equal because they have different bodies and have trouble doing certain tasks is stupid. I'm sure there are things that women can do that men can't, just like there are things that men can do that women can't.
/r/MensRights07/09/12 10:51 PM

In some cases it's a good idea to have opinions from both genders. However... No one knows a woman's body better than a woman herself.

http://listverse.com/2008/11/20/10-extreme-examples-of-gender-inequality/ In Saudi Arabia, women aren’t allowed to drive, or even ride bikes, and men aren’t allowed to drive women they’re not closely related to. The kingdom is currently dealing with the dilemma of how to get 367,000 girls to school on buses that can only be driven by men. The logical question at this point is this: If no men are allowed to come in contact with schoolgirls, and women aren’t allowed to drive, who will be driving t…

Not exactly.... As a feminist, I just want the same rights and respect that a man has. I want us both to be on equal ground, not to feel intimidated by someone else or be treated differently just because of what they have in their shirt and pants. Then again... I support Men's rights as well. I think it's a matter of personal opinion on which gender has the harder life in modern times though.

Women serve in the military as well. And before that, they served as nurses and doctors that cared for the men and made it possible to fight.

I've never done pull ups, but I would assume that unless there was some way around having your arms in front of your chest that it would be very difficult to maneuver with your bust in the way. I think women should be given another physical task to do that is just as demanding as pull ups, but less difficult on the terms of your bust being in the way. I'm sorry if that sounds confusing. It's kinda hard to explain...

I originally thought the second point that you made. I'm a woman as well, and I was also offended by this. I hate it when women expect for people to buy them everything or always get discounts just because they have boobs. I like chivalry from men though, it's always nice when someone holds the door open for me and I always say thank you, likewise I hold the door open when there's someone behind me. Um... Sorry. I started rambling and got a little off topic there...

Well, maybe a certain gender is more into this band and they want to leech as much money as possible from them and make it a bit cheaper for the signifigant other or friend of this person that is dragged along. Think about making money. It's a strategy.
/r/MensRights21/08/12 09:25 PM

I'm a woman, and I am just as disgusted with this as the rest of you. I would be horrified either way. But there are things like this against women. The whole "get back in the kitchen" thing is an example.

Romney poses a MUCH greater threat to women than to men at the moment. If he passes, women will be treated like mere objects again... Sometimes I wish we had no gender.

Men do live shorter lives than women. This is a fact that cannot be avoided, seeing is it still happens in more developed countries. The reason men are more likely to commit suicide is because many of them are less timid than women when it comes to life-changing decisions. But that statistic is WAY too high. So things were like this BEFORE obamacare. No one has really complained until now. Why do I feel like this is a fake ploy to get people to vote for Romney so that women's health will suffer …
/r/MensRights21/08/12 09:14 PM
2

Yep. I don't know why, but we do. Especially in more developed countries. That's why in retirement homes there are a lot more women than men. And the few men in the place have all the ladies flocking to them. XD

What I'm seeing is that she slapped someone after being made fun of relentlessly. I think one hit is justified for her. Just like if a man was being teased by women a shove from him would be justified. But not a full blown beating.
/r/MensRights18/08/12 02:16 PM
1

Oh now this is just rediculous. Neither gender can talk about "her little vagina" and then both genders can talk about "his little wee-wee". The reason it's talked about is because small things are seen as being cute. Even tiny penisis (penises, peni? I don't even know.).
/r/MensRights18/08/12 02:12 PM
1

I believe she's implying that it's the caring and loving people that create good things in the world, the people that most people would call "motherly" (from the stereotype), and not the rough and violent people. I don't believe this quote is all that sexist.
/r/MensRights18/08/12 02:09 PM

No, not exactly. Please don't stereotype.
/r/MensRights02/08/12 04:07 PM

Well... The majority of domestic abuse is aimed at women. There is still a large amount of men being attacked, but women are at a much higher risk. I think that domestic abuse campaigns should be aimed to protect both genders, even if one is a bit more common than the other.
/r/MensRights02/08/12 04:06 PM

It really is sad... I wish it wasn't true. Honestly, I'd prefer a world where the pen was truly mightier than the sword.
/r/MensRights24/07/12 02:23 PM

This is horrible.. To me, honestly, as long as a guy isn't morbidly obese and is in decent shape I don't mind. As long as they're healthy and happy, I'm happy. And honestly, I don't think I know a single girl that would be sexually attracted to a guy with bulging veins and muscles. That's just rather gross... I mean, a muscular body can be appealing. I think it's because an instinctive thought leads women to believe that a strong man can protect them, and they are more attracted to the stronger …
/r/MensRights23/07/12 04:42 PM
2

Well, not all the time. There are different things that women do as well. Some women also attempt to be lean and increase their muscular mass at the same time. Then they go through all the work of pruning and primping themselves to appeal to the opposite or same sex. It's a lot of work for both men and women, in my eyes.
/r/MensRights23/07/12 04:39 PM
0

Some of these are a little too far. Why would they say "women are inferior and need a strong man" and "getting on your knees and staying there."? That's horrible! I agree that there are hundreds of "feminists" that are batshit insane and do things like this to men's rights websites. And I'm sorry for that. However, neither group should do something like this!
/r/MensRights20/07/12 07:46 PM

Well, women beig harassed is /much/ more common than a man being harrassed. I think that they didn't put a section for makes because men could just take the words in the women's section and use them. Easy as that. No need to have a fit.
/r/MensRights20/07/12 07:41 PM

In my eyes, both genders should be taught better. They should know to defend themselves against threats, but they should also be taught morals.
/r/MensRights20/07/12 07:39 PM

Hey now, there are men that do the same thing as the pop culture chick. It's not gender based here.
/r/MensRights16/07/12 05:55 AM

Female genital mutilation is horrible, but so is male genital mutilation. By what I have read there is NO benefit to female genital mutilation. I'm not sure if there are benefits to male mutilation. But I believe that people should be able to choose whatever they do with their genitals, when they are ADULTS. It's selfish for parents to do such a permanent thing to their child!
/r/MensRights16/07/12 05:49 AM

Both of these "jokes" are horrible. And as much as people protest, women still have a little less rights than men. I hope this will change soon and we'll all be equal...
/r/MensRights16/07/12 05:45 AM

I'm very sorry for all the idiots who come from my gender... While it is impressive that women can deal with childbirth and the monthly intense pain from periods, men can do amazing things as well. Neither gender can use these in an argument though, because they don't know what it's like to be the other sex.
/r/MensRights16/07/12 05:37 AM

The statistic may be wrong, but a shocking amount of women are abused and murdered by their boyfriends or husbands. Women can and sometimes do abuse or kill their husbands or boyfriends, but I don't believe it is as common.

As a woman this absolutely horrifies me. I'm very sorry about the morons that come from my sex. Please believe me when I say not all of us are this stupid. P.S.
