I almost ended up in jail between the stress of court, losing my grandmother, and alcohol. Kids are smart and will eventually see for themselves what's going on. I have my son almost exactly half the time (on paper, I tend to have him more now-a-days), and I still pay almost $500 a month to his mom. And I'm still single and she's married with another kid.
