First off trp is not merely a rejection because there are key ideals (fitness, nutrition, confidence, self reliance) that are very mainstream. Second off trp wasnt caused by anything, this is proven by the fact it draws massively from evolutionary psychology, so if it is a reaction to anything it is a reaction to basic human instinct.

In some things he is blue pilled but it depends on what you value and whether you can think for yourself. Also trp has a tendency to hate on anything mainstream
