Yeah, that's a good way of putting it. Still, social skills are difficult for a lot of non-autistic people. But you're right, it's always possible to improve.

We can still try to learn social skills, and some of us can be quite good at them. Most of us have a harder time with it to some degree, but we can learn social skills to differing degrees. It just depends on the person.

Just commenting this on the side, but as an autistic person please don't assume we all fit a certain stereotype. You would not know I am autistic if you met me, but I would be very hurt if you insisted I wasn't because of all the effort I put into masking. Not saying you're the type of person to do this, but I felt it needed to be said.

This is not true. We should not conflate being an incel with autism. There are many people with autism who have romantic relationships, albeit much less than NTs for many reasons.

I tend to think that people hold women to a higher social standard than men, as in, the range of socially acceptable behaviors in women is smaller. So I think many women are more likely to be judgemental of people who don't fall in that range than men are.
