Yes. You can recover from being a nice guy (sometimes) but not from being an emotional tampon as OP aptly put it. The fact that she was saying all of these things should've been a big clue that she wasn't interested.

A legit question and not one I'm sure of the answer to. I think alpha-beta works better as a framework for looking at individual decisions (or courses of action) than judging entire lives. Even Arnold Schwarzenegger got taken for a ride by his ex-wife.

It comes down to defining alpha. IMO you can't divorce the realities of their job - respect of large swathes of society, the ability to do whatever they want, and the ability to get other people to do whatever the cops want - and say that doesn't factor into the equation. When there's a dangerous situation, it's the cops who generally diffuse it, not an internet tough guy. That doesn't mean that they're Genghis Khan, or that there aren't beta cops, or that they deserve any of the perks stated ab…

You simplify. It's a mix. People are right that race plays a role. People are right that some people way over-exaggerate the role of race. If you imagine SMV on a 1-10 scale, there are more than a few women who'd tick off a point or two - or more - because you aren't white. Same thing with white men looking at non-white women. The important message is that for an individual, it doesn't matter. Do the best you can to make yourself the best you can be. Once you do that, then you can complain about…

Eh... "bro" is what "player" was. And bro isn't even really "is" anymore - it's been played out for a few years now. But to the extent it's "bad," it's "bad" in the way that neither men nor women really think it's bad. Maybe there's some theoretical negative connotation, but really... nope. It's all positive.

Yes people lie on surveys. Women will underestimate. Men will overestimate. If someone has sex easily with 20 people before you, why won't they have sex easily after you?

Let's be real here: you think you've had some grand realization, but you haven't. "Monk mode" or whatever you call it is just an excuse to avoid your own discomfort while you think you're improving yourself. First, you didn't know you didn't know. Now, you know you don't know. The next step is you know you know. Then you don't know you know. Congrats on having an ounce of self-realization. Now do something about it, don't use it as an excuse to reinforce your avoidance of real life.

This sounds about right. There's a difference between a woman in a committed relationship who's actively seeking it out versus someone desperately working a woman in a committed relationship who has no intention of straying.

Yep, end of story. Maybe 20 year ago creepy had a meaning. Now it's a catch-all for unattractive.

Gut reaction: this is actually the most bluepill thing ever written.

To be fair the median age has gone up about 10 years in that time too. No doubt people are bigger though.

Like everything, it's frame/context dependent. One person might be a hopeless beta seeing a naked girl for the first time in 3 years and dropping a month's salary on a champagne-room lapdance with no extras only to leave with blueballs. One person might be a rich guy flush with cash to whom a few bucks is nothing for a relatively pleasant way to spend an hour or two. One guy is doing it because he has to, one guy is doing it because he wants to.

Defending yourself is about warding off aggression. Lift so you aren't a manlet and don't put yourself in compromising positions and you'll likely never have to lift a finger to defend yourself. This will also serve to defend those who are immediately close to you (e.g. a girl walking with you down the street). Defending others - which is what you want to do - is different. But generally on yelp you can get a sense for what type of gym a fighting gym is. Look to see who's making the comments and…

That completely changes things. The best course of action is to largely ignore with intermittent bouts of you briefly humiliating him. Think Don Draper's "I don't even think about you" line.

Google AMOG. Report back. TRP is not user friendly to new people but this is pretty basic. Also, why do you keep letting this guy chill at your house if he is shitting on you and physically dominating you. I think the cuckold subreddit may be more your style.

State-sponsored (and general societal) bias in favor of women is far, far greater than that in favor of Blacks and Hispanics, to the extent the latter even exists. But that's besides the point. The news stories on this issue indicate that she started pretending she was Black after her husband divorced her. That seems to be a far more likely catalyst for what went on than internalizing state-sponsored racism or whatever you posit.

Arguing with people on facebook: low value Asking a board permission to delete facebook: low value Keeping bad pictures of you online: low value Prescription: break computer in half and join real world.

Sort of, sort of not. Even elementary schoolers understand that "he/she keeps looking at me/you" is a telltale sign of interest. And often it's subconscious. The real key isn't "is she looking at me," its "is she looking at me more than I would expect in this situation." That's the indicator right there.

Don't get introduced, introduce yourself. And OP's advice is generally more applicable to everyday situations than clubs. Bar/Club game is a different, distinct subset of game. Not that OP's advice still doesn't apply - it does - but it's better read as "don't be afraid to talk to xyz at work, at the store, whatever," IMO. Bars and clubs are really where the old PUA stuff is applicable - where it's going to be a lot more negs and such than genuine conversation. And to some extent that does requi…
