You obviously missed the point here. I can buy a slice of pizza for $1 in NYC, and it would taste better then almost any pizzeria in the US. Right, so I work at one of the biggest tech companies in the world. What does that have to do with money? It doesn’t. Most people do not know what actual food could taste like with simple ingredients. You obviously don’t know as you think pulled pork and beer should cost that much. Are they doing something so different that it is so amazing compared to a third world country? Nope. You probably visited maybe a different country one or two times at best. I’ve drank Trappist beers for $10 a pop. Even that is way better then what some crap hole is selling. I reside in a top 10 city, so that’s not an excuse. You can go to the worst neighborhood, and get pulled pork for a few dollars. This is just showing off.

Hope you get to do it! That country has its faults, but can’t beat beautiful islands along with the ridiculously low cost of living. I would have left a long time ago if I didn’t have too much personal crap tied up.

Not at all. Look at the cost of living compared to let’s say, the Philippines. It’s 1/3 of it. Now as a foreigner I would recommend living there. Most people speak English and if you lived in the province, you could literally live 20 years easily with 100k as a local. Just a little bit better living as middle class with nothing fancy, that will last 15 years. This would include vacations and traveling which would be a lot nicer then Malaysia.

Because take home pay can vary. So you just read? You haven’t actually lived in third world countries then for extended periods of time. Now you are adding passive income? Actually the average yearly earnings of a Malaysian is $29,132 USD before take home. That 100k will last you not even 4 years unless you want to live a third world lifestyle which then would last you maybe 10 years. You would need to either rent or build a tiny house, and that will eat into your savings fast. Yes, food is cheap. You realize autism is the complete opposite? Autistic people do and comprehend feelings and sometimes on a higher intensity. Most don’t reciprocate feelings back due to a variety of reasons and will show no outward emotion while internally they do. I would have to disagree white knight. Yes, she doesn’t deserve to be assaulted in prison, but that is a crime to lie about that and that is why she might be facing real jail time. If that was Joe Nobody and a woman called the cops and lied for assault, he would go directly to jail.
