That feels a bit drastic does it not?

exactly. I am not a fan of hookup culture personally, but most people over exaggerate how much action they get if not flat out lie. People today have less sex than their parents and grandparents did. Maybe OP should be less picky like his were and sort out his own shit. He ain't gonna find a 'good' woman anywhere because they aren't looking for a jaded, hateful man.

Being stood up says significantly more about them than you. Its Their loss, and honestly they saved you time if they couldn't even be bothered to cancel on you. Seriously if they couldn't tell you ahead of time they don't want to go out, then that person isn't well adjusted enough or mature enough to be worth your time.

This. Games are fucking bullshit and waste everybody's time. Its one thing if you are doing a little dance before you start dating / having sex to see if each of your are actually invested (I don't follow this but I can understand it) but if you are already dating and having sex then why fuck around? to OP stop being a child and playing games. Women see that shit just as much if not more than men do and are generally happy to move on to someone else. If you want something go for it.

I openly tell people I am not a great texter and don't like to use my phone. I work 80% on my phone (calls, slack, emails, etc.) so when I get texted oftentimes I am like wtf who wants something now. So I primarily use to to organize dates, some light banter with a couple people. But even with my closest friends and family I rarely communicate through text.

What are your priorities? It shouldn't really hamper your experience with people who are understanding / family oriented, but it will limit the number of people invested. If you are seriously dating (ie looking for partners vs hookups) then I don't see how it can be a massive issue. People who are looking for serious partnerships and are family oriented don't mind folks who live with and help care for their family.

Thing is with humour and flirting just keep in mind an idea of playful arrogance. Aka you say shit like you are full of yourself but your tone says you are joking around

What Destroyer is saying is that your BF probably isn't passionate because he feels like he is in a class being lectured. Personally for me (as a guy) I've got 2 modes of mentality, and others might as well. One is work / analytical / learning and the other is play. When I am in work mode I am working and switch off as much emotion as possible. So when people are explaining things to me im am only focussed on that. You should probably try to let him focus on having a bit of fun. If he hasn't h…

If you are to joke about yourself it is better to do it about things you like / are confident in. Then its clear that you aren't taking it super seriously.

I would add to their post that there is a difference between dating / seeing simultaneously, and talking to / initial stages. IE I think within a couple weeks to a month it is fine to talk to multiple people, but if you continue to talk to the same person after that, you should really shit or get off the pot

In my experience most women are significantly more insecure then men. The type of woman that holds that shit over your head isn't worth your time. IMO

3, 1, 2 Everybody (even men) like confidence in others, specifically males. Having a good appearance makes you look friendlier and more approachable/sociable. While a physical fitness helps, i know women who dont want overly muscular guys (because it makes them feel bad, OR insecure about their ability to keep the man).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
