This wasn't a test or dread. Females don't use dread. This is just basic hypergamy. She's exploring her options while you seem to have none. She didn't "break your frame" with the phone call. Your frame is not some lifebar in a video game. It's who you are. And you communicated poorly that: I'm saying "Do what you gotta do" but.... I'm super needy and want to be exclusive with you blah blah blah so this is in short doublespeak. Calling her out will make it worse. Again, this is basic female hype…

Have you seen the MRP post on E prime statements? You addressing the covert contracts is good. But look into how to reframe them into E prime. It really helped me escape my reactive mindset. I will fuck Can be changed to: "I choose when I fuck"

What the fuck does this mean? I've been pandering and reacting to my wife's actions instead of focusing on me. The nonsense refers to my own inaction. Going through the motions of a failed marriage.

I don't believe a word. Lawyer said I could basically take a knee and run out the clock. With all the evidence, a simple phone record subpoena will be enough combined with my state's only burden of proof: opportunity and inclination. It's a slam dunk for no alimony.

I gave her some answers... Do you think you owe her that? If you're going through lawyers now, is this just to keep the peace?

Power goes to the individual who needs the relationship the least. Could be a giant comfort test. Need more context into your situation but the moment you start "talking" to her about your feelings and opening up is the moment you enter her frame. Have you had a main event yet?

Does she know you plan on divorcing her? She has no idea from what I can tell. I fumbled an attempt in early May. It was an anger and emotional response on my part. If I would have held out longer it might have actually sped up the process. she knows that you know she cheated She knows I'm "on to something" based on several accusations starting in March but she denied everything. I've been documenting everything. I have mountains of evidence from the PI but no smoking gun or who it is. But the p…

chasing the unattainable I think it's this. It's a new thought. I recently came across a new thought: My wife is like a dog who got rabies. I love her still, as stupid as that sounds on here but, I have to put her down. There's no saving her or this marriage.

"about to get my period" She got it this morning. I had it down to the day before, not sure why she was a week late. Regardless never had a slip up using pull out in 5 years. Not to say she could pull a fast one. Lawyer I consulted 6 lawyers here, spent about $700 in consultation fees. The one I retained is a good fit for my strategy which is 0 alimony. you still REACT to her This is true, I need to correct that behavior but I'm experiencing less anxiety about the situation.

You're right, I guess I still have some residual anger I'm dealing with. I do feel a lot less of it than earlier in my process. I'm trying to control what I can with my immediate surroundings. Maybe it's the wife goggles I keep finding myself putting back. I ask myself if she is divested, then why am I trying?

One thing I noticed through my 5 year marriage, is that I started with an avoidant style and my wife had anxious attachment. It took several years of this combined with my lack of leadership in the marriage. Protest behavior began right at year 5 and the script completely flipped. She became avoidant and I quickly became anxious.

Both kids are mine. I paternity tested them last month when this shit started. She's been off BC pills for at least 3 years, horrid side effects. I used to be able to sleep anywhere, anytime before all this started. My mind won't turn off. I have a deep-seated anxiety about the entire ordeal that has been with me for around 3 months. It hasn't improved I have just become used to it. When I do get to sleep I always wake up heart racing 2 to 3 hours later. My WHOOP band has a consistent spike every night between 1-2 a.m., my HR shoots to 110-120. I wake up, do some breathwork and go back to sleep in about an hour or 2.

When you actually live your mission, you'll realize the whole idea of a "mission statement" is retard fodder. How do you live your mission if you can't define it? If you can't quantify a goal? I've seen a lot of guys struggle with defining what they want, including myself. To me, it is just a tool to help in the process.

Very true. I'm still stuck in adrenaline mode when I get pissed off that's my only outlet. I've tried GABA, melotonin, all the the huberman sups. It's my physiological response to this shit. My mind won't stop and I typically toss and turn all night maybe grabbing 3-4 solid hours. When I do get solid sleep I will wake up about 2 or 3 am heart racing. I'll go into the bathroom and splash some water on my face and try to get back to bed. I use breathwork to get my heart rate down. Prior to this me…

Would it be better to just OYS monthly? A lot can happen in a month. I'm early in my journey so for me weekly is the only option. It instills discipline and forces me to pay attention. I have slow weeks but I'm able to continue measuring success and failures based on that time frame. Monthly to me, unless you're way far in your journey, seems like a weak excuse to not put in the work required.

I'm doing it to document my stability as a parent in an attempt to later show in mediation or the court that I didn't deny access to the kids. And I made several opportunities for her to call them. I thought I was scared to lose the kids and house. But now I just feel stupid for wasting time and effort in trying to solve an impossible situation. I caved because I thought I could deal with the bullshit to keep the family together. I guess it takes me multiple slaps in the face to realize the exit has always been there.

Didn't tell her I was filing. Took control of the treasury by moving money out and leaving enough for her to find an attorney. Preempted the DV charge by calling the police and my employer about what was happening. Blocked her on all communications. She got through to me via neighbors phone and I folded and talked. We reconciled over the phone. But that actually just ended today. She's had enough from her end and the fallout with the extended family is too great for her to proceed.

Great points and well received. The reason I want the PI is to use that as a trump card. Not out of spite but because I'm dealing with a covert narcissist. In MMSLP, there's a phrase about not wishing to use such nukes, but one wishes to have the nuclear capability. I'm looking into no fault. I'm building my evidence and documenting everything daily.

It's amoral to me if someone wants to use gear or not to achieve a desired physique. I'm choosing compounds that I've used safely in the past in a measured way. There is a bit of context here, but the trip was originally planned. It turned from a planned trip with a solid return date to a one-way trip with an unknown return date based on my inability to STFU last week. I let my emotions boil over. Regardless of this, you are right. The longer I wait, the more money spent/lost. I am entertaining the idea of a sparring partner but I have been building my case by collecting evidence and documenting absolutely everything. From texts and calls to financials.

> If she left you is the juice worth the squeeze and if she leaves once even with you bettering yourself, whats to stop her from bouncing again at another sign of adversity? Is that in your plan for what you want for your life and your future? I think the short answer is it doesn't matter. My life and future will exist without her and that is where I see opportunity.

It's the emasculation paradox. Your only way to address these issues is to reflect every day and OYS weekly. It's not something to dip your toes in. Everyone wants results with minimum effort. Why bulk so aggressively Maybe that is a bit aggressive. The program I ran a few years ago is 0.5 to 1lb per week. Regardless, my physique is unassuming until I take my shirt off or am wearing tighter clothes, then it's like a jump scare. Or maybe I go into maintenance and just keep the fat down. Otherwise, where I am now is a good starting point either way. Remind me when did you last fuck her? The night before she left.

I think there is definitely some truth to that. I just started Praxeology Vol 1 last night and can see I'm kind of stuck in the dancing monkey mentality. She lost weight end of last year for a Ball. Kept if off. Her claim is she shut herself off physically because she couldn't stand the fights with me every week or so about the same shit: Me giving in to the kids every demand and not backing her up with discipline them.
