I didn't need to search long. In your words, "Identifying as a feminist means absolutely nothing except that you believe in the rights of women." If you think that feminist means nothing except the rights of women, then there is your definition of true femin-ism. Next time you think I am shoving words or logical fallacies into your mouth, you need to check your own belief system. I am more interested in hearing your belief in true and real feminist, blergcheese. Although, I will have to say. The…

once we take away women's privilege, then I think we can start discussing gender equality with these white knights. oh wait..that would destroy the very meaning of white knights or any chance of them ever getting laid.

kudos to your partner. Really courageous and virtuous of him to do that. he must have really liked you, not as a woman (or man,) but as a person. That's amazing.

saying that MRA overgeneralize feminist is like saying that we are overgeneralizing human beings across the world. it is a meaningless defense for feminism. Say what you will, it's called, "no true scotsman." we criticize feminism where feminism can't seem to criticize. feminism comes in variety of forms: economic, social, and political fronts. marxist, socialist, conservative, liberal, and anything in between. at this point, feminism is just a meaningless notion that appeals to "goodness" much …

i dunno what feminism is about these days. this woman says it's about choice, but then my school says it's about social issues, then jezebel says it's about women getting into power. I am so mindfucked.

MRA is really an antithesis to feminism. What may result from our conflicting ideals may be different.

that is why I think men's right groups should exist. there are literally systems and laws built to allow bad woman to pursue these fucked up bullshit and give bad name to those who do not.

"“If we want to see more women in leadership positions, we need to have a two-track approach,” she said. “We need both incentives to move women onto boards and into Parliament . . . and investments in civil society and public policy research institutions that will be the ground that those women will stand on.”" Are they saying that women cannot currently join the existing civil society and public policy research institution? What the fuck is wrong with this sexist organization that keeps women b…

I don't judge the movement by the foot soldiers. I judge it by their leaders, ideology, and actions. Because, you know, actions speak louder than words.

it's funny that all they talk about is violence against women and wage gap all the fucking time when they are faced with opposing facts and viewpoints. That says a lot about their bullshit talking points and victimhood mentality.

I am actually happy that women's studies major exists. It flushes out useless portion of the society and put them in "advocacy groups," which will earn them shit wages. Win win. But I suppose these groups make up for million dollar industry via federal funding....There is a word for this. Parasites.

"It is not okay to behave that way." How about this: You tell them get the fuck away instead of drumming up bullshit "awareness" to teach men "how to behave."

"TBH one my problems with Feminism is its lack of a real form." perhaps that could be part of your criticism and go from there. English also my second language and I am not a white man. It is interesting to be part of this discourse as a man who does not have all the privilege in the world (according to patriarchy haha). GL and i hope that you share your paper with us.

I ask this question because Mr.Warren Farrell illustrated interesting comparison of how one values one's sex. Female virginity, when asked by surveyor, was considered to be more valuable compared to men. Whether they are men or women, both seem to agree that men are more likely to consider their virginity less valuable than female peers (by a rate of 10,000x or maybe 10 million....i forget the number). It's interesting because both gender supposes that female sex is more valued than male sex and…

I personally thought that he was trolling. he basically said, "just someone born as a male who wishes he wasn't, but can't ever fully relinquish that privilege." What can we, as men, help a man who hates his own gender? I..I don't know what to say. He should value himself as a human being...God, this is awful.

i would be on-board with their goddamn campaign only if they didn't use goddamn term like "rape culture." It just sends wrong message and invokes unwarranted fear amongst women and puts men under the highlight, which is ok but doesn't address the female side since..well...females are the victims.

Ah, "white man's burden" except in this case, it would be the white man's duty to sacrifice their wealth, so that the "less privileged" will advance before them. So, racism reversed? (coming from Not-White Male).
