Why buy a 3 in 1 shower gel when you can use my new Patented 5-in-1 shower gel that not only washes your hair, face, and body, but can be used as toothpaste and shaving cream?

Either you replied to the wrong person, or I'm missing your point. Can you elaborate?

I don't think anyone is saying they have an unlimited license, but there are some major discrepancies in the eye of the law with men compared to women. Women are more likely to get out of a ticket when pulled over. Source Women are FAR more likely to receive custody of children in court cases Source In domestic violence cases where the man is the victim, they are still more likely to be arrested than the female aggressor. I agree, but I believe when the guy you originally posted to bashed "feminism", that was the movement he was bashing. While i'm sure there are some people here who legitimately hate women, most of this sub's users are pro women's rights.

I think there's 2 feminist movements - one where women want to be equal to men. That movement we can all support. The other movement is more radical, wanting to do away with things considered "feminine". They oppose a patriarchy and view all men as the oppresors. They want to be treated as equals only when it benefits them, and still want to keep the aspects of society where being a woman is better. This is not a movement I can get behind.

In fairness, negotiating starting salaries/asking for a raise isn't really a skill taught to either gender. That should be included in a "how do survive in the real world" class in high school that includes how to do your taxes, how mortgages work, etc.

It's the same as "Man" referring to all of humankind. But "man" and "woman" are also specific genders. Of course, when you google "man", you're going to get all human males as results.

"In the wee hours of the morning, the smaller, more brazen male will often antagonize a much larger male in hopes of impressing and securing a mate. The odds of victory are slim, but the consumption of a toxin known as 'alcohol' has lowered the smaller male's inhibitions."

The last one should have circled Fe - Man and it would have been perfect. You're right, those comments are absolutely hilarious.

I think it's because women see a more emotional connection with sex than men do. They're more easily manipulated and potentially hurt from these sorts of relationships. As a guy at 13-14, I wanted to hump everything, I didn't care. So if a hot older woman wanted to "use me for sex", more power to her. It's a damn shame too. I was slangin' my best dick around at 16-17, when I was in the best shape and could go multiple times per night. Now in my late 20's, I'm lucky if I don't get a cramp somewhe…

Yeah I had an ex girlfriend like that. You could tell she wanted a ring and a fancy wedding, and it seemed like she couldnt care less about the guy that gave it to her. Oh well, shitty people will be shitty.

I've noticed a lot more destination weddings in groups of my friends. At first, I thought it was selfish and stupid, but after I heard how much venues are starting to charge to host weddings/receptions, it's almost cheaper to travel somewhere fun for it. It's probably mostly supply/demand, but with weddings becoming more and more expensive, these venues are making a fortune. Social media probably doesn't help, as every girl wants a bigger and more nicer wedding than all of her facebook friends.

He didn't record only video. You can hear the audio in the clip.

Not sure why someone downvoted you, but i was interested in the subject so i looked it up, and sure enough some states have sentence additions if a gun was used.

Well it was in Spain. I'm not sure how different their prison sentencing is from America's. Even if they were in America, if she was laying in wait with a gun of her own to kill him when he got there, that's probably 1st degree murder and she gets life. If it was his gun and it was a heat of passion murder, it would probably be 2nd degree murder, and many states have a 15 year minimum prison sentence, so it's not really unheard of. Assuming she had a clean record prior to this, it's not outrageo…

You're right. She probably just needs to realize that they just treat everyone like they don't matter, but not because they're women.

I've thought the same thing this woman is thinking, and I'm a male. I'm from the mid-west (and live here currently), but I moved to the east coast in high school. There was definitely a cultural and attitude difference between the two. It was more of a "Fuck you, I'm the only thing that's important" attitude on the east coast, where in the mid-west, people would bend over backwards to help you. I just interpreted the post at how flabbergasted she was to experience the difference.

Maybe. I didn't get this vibe from this girl though. I think she just comes from a place where chivalry is the expectation from men and accepted by the women. I think she's upset at how shitty of a place Seattle is because of the radfem movement vs somewhere where gender roles are more distinct and embraced, like the midwest or deep south.

Someone on the original post said it may have been a lawsuit taken out on behalf of the Aunt's insurance company. The insurance company doesn't get named in the suit for some stupid privacy reason, but they basically force the aunt's hand and force her to sue for damages, so that her insurance doesn't have to pay. They also said that's why the lawyer and the aunt both had a good idea they weren't going to receive any compensation. And her making these odd remarks about hor d'oeuvre plates might …

I mean, he was just sitting at home minding his own business doing nothing illegal, until those 2 decided to go and ruin his life.

I'd like to think I would be rational enough to make that decision and not go for the kill shot, but the adrenaline and sheer terror of the thought those two returning with guns make me seriously doubt I could make a good decision. It's sad that in the matter of a few seconds, he could go from "self defender" to "murderer"

Which sucks. He was doing nothing wrong, and all of a sudden was put in the unfortunate circumstance to have to protect himself and his property from 2 people who made the conscious decision to threaten him and steal from him. But he's also 80 and is way past that point of giving a fuck.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
