| 3 | Girlfriend problemsMate, it's over. This is coming from somebody having very recently been at the receiving end of a 6 year relationship, culminating in a year of LDR. It feels like it can work but at this point, she's already thinking about you in the past. A long distance girlfriend is not a girlfriend, that's your first mistake. Somebody that is there to touch her and see her in the flesh will always win over somebody far away. My advice is to leave now, work on yourself and improve your SMV for other situation… | /r/askTRP | 01/08/15 11:18 PM |
| 1 | Long Distance GirlfriendDo you honestly see no way an open relationship would work? This was definitely something I decided. | /r/askTRP | 30/07/15 12:02 PM |
| 1 | Long Distance GirlfriendThis rings so true. I definitely made the problem of being too invested when I should have relaxed, appreciated the situation for what it really is and just work on myself. a year is a long time and your holding out is the antithesis of abundance mentality. I agree with this too. Although It's difficult to do when the girl has meant so much after so many years. I'm sure anybody in this situation would concur. | /r/askTRP | 30/07/15 12:01 PM |
| 1 | 5+ year relationship - now LTR/Open - SMV help?Other option being coming out here and basically explicitly force her to cheat on me. At least this way it's like I decided it. | /r/askTRP | 21/01/15 03:27 PM |
