In my state it is a crime for a trans man to use the men’s restroom so there’s that, also the trans panic defense is still legal in a handful of states

The only sources I’ve seen similar to what you’re describing state that more women hunted than we initially thought, not that women primarily hunted. On average men would have more availability to hunt more often than women due to pregnancy, but our ancestors lived in small nomadic groups of around 70-150ish. We didn’t have a lot of spare hands to help with child rearing, hunting and foraging for food. Everyone helped raise kids, everyone helped forage and everyone with the ability to helped wit…

Many trans people (or at least many that I know personally, I cannot speak for all trans people) tend to do their best to not mention it and pass as the gender they’re transitioning into due to social stigma. Being openly trans isn’t really a fantastic idea right now. Many trans men are stealth, and live as cis men in their day to day lives. Also, transition is material, physical, and real. My Adam’s apple isn’t fake, neither is my metabolism, RBC, or muscle mass. Adolescent/adult male Testoster…

Homie you’re over generalizing here Plenty of trans men know that being a dude isn’t all great, just like how being a chick isn’t all great either. Trans guys don’t transition for social benefits or whatever you’re implying here. I didn’t think men had any special social privileges. I knew that men are generally a lot more isolated from each other compared to women. I wasn’t expecting anything from my transition except to look like and be treated as a man, and that goal has been made. I’m very h…

there’s plenty of tall bottoms who prefer shorter tops in my experience but there’s definitely plenty of tall tops into shorter bottoms as well

I’m 5’2 as well and I’ve been cis passing for a couple years, so I’d say I’m pretty masculine Im gay so it’s a little different for me with dating, but im not bothered whatsoever by my height. I would like to get more buff but im still well toned so it’s not a huge deal

Eh, trans guy here and I really like being a dude Yeah, societal standards suck sometimes but o have a decent support system and I know that I don’t have to conform to what society thinks I should be in order to be a man, I just gotta do shit that I enjoy

Right now the standard of care for transgender people is a combination of therapy and medical intervention. Therapy is generally required in order to begin any medical treatment. Gender dysphoria isn’t a delusion, and isn’t comparable to schizophrenia in any way. These are two vastly different conditions, and aren’t going to be treated the same. Gender dysphoria is simply recognizing that one doesn’t feel comfortable with the sexual characteristics their body naturally has, and undergoing change…

What treatment specifically do you suggest? Because so far the most effective treatment is to transition. We don’t have the technology to rewire the brain to match the body. We have the technology to change the body to match the brain though, and it’s effective for most trans people who transition.

Folks kinda of react more negatively, they awkwardly ignore me or just kind of brush it off, sort of avoid me I tend to keep my emotional situation on the down low, so it doesn’t happen that often luckily

I appreciate you taking the time to write that comment but I was mentioning the negative male experiences I personally have noticed I am aware of these statistics, and I agree that being a man can be difficult, but for me the positives outweigh the negatives

Testosterone/estrogen does in fact change some structures in the brain Since starting T, I’m a lot more stable, I don’t feel things as intensely. However that could just be because transitioning in general has made my mental health improve vastly.

Tbh, living as a man has been a lot easier than being seen as a woman Like yes, I do have to be more careful around women, and being emotionally vulnerable in public is a no no, but I have friends who got my back so other than those two things it’s been pretty great

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
