There's no 'compensating'. There's no prestige when in the event of war/intervention you are more likely to die from a drone/ambush/IED/artillery than ever actually doing something against enemy forces. Typical Spain for ya. Most of the country are just retards who vote out of senseless idealism, because they find said candidate to look great, or because they just hate the other side. The first book is literally a woman's opinion on why men like strong independent women who stand up for themselves, something quite different from the books pictured, and the second one is literally the same but more as a handbook.
