I’ve seen some cases like that first hand (I’ve worked in the sports field and I’ve had a bunch of girl coworkers before). A few coworkers and I were at a super bowl party and there a few randoms there too. The randoms started talking to some of the girls and when they found out the girls worked in sports they started quizzing them on (fairly basic) rules and trivia. Those girls were just there to watch the game, and it was definitely uncomfortable and pretty rude
