6	Ex gf ruining my mental health but I can’t let her go I'm closing in on 40, so relatively speaking, you are on the younger side, but you're not a child, and you see the situation for what it is. If we could see into the future that would take all the fun out of life. Life is a journey, it's about what you do with it, not where you end up. I don't have any award winning advice to give you. You seem to already know what the smart thing to do is, putting some distance between the two of you. Things will never change the way they're going now, and you need to worry about you first and foremost.
