How is a emotionally unavailable woman that only cares about her child and disregards her new relationship dateable? I mean if I were the child I would definitely want my mom to prioritize me over some guy. But that’s the reason we call guys who date single moms beta cucks. They are desperate enough to accept a role as a NPC. Everyone should be the main character of their own life at least.

Most people don’t actively hate single moms they are just undateable. I tried it once. They will always prioritize their kid over their new partner and you basically get the worst of two worlds. You have to take at least some responsibility and are involved in raising the kid but you have no say. Because then it’s suddenly their child again and it’s not your place to criticize her.

I don’t know which generation you belong to but 30+ most single women (and men) are glued to dating apps for the daily dopamine hit. At least in the urban sphere of my country. Wouldn’t even know where else to find them. But valid point about the deterritorialization of third spaces and its consequences. When I was in college I was a skinny pale dude but there were free places to go to find and get to know women irl. Now in my thirties I look more conventionally attractive than ever but nowhere …

I think this new world order would be fair and square if corporations didn’t mess up this whole dynamic by creating dating apps which clearly favor women. That was the true turning point.

I really enjoy the company of women and have more female friends than male friends because I work in a career dominated by women. They think I’m great dude and constantly try to hook me up with a girl called „someone else“ who I supposedly will make very happy. I doesn’t work that way. At least for me.

That’s exactly what world wars were for. Evening the playing field for later generation of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 05:01 PM

Men yeah but especially black men. So let’s say it together.

In my country (Germany) the incel mindset poses a real danger to society. They vote far right parties just because these parties reject women’s rights. A party that literally wants deport non white people is the second strongest force in our parliament because they promise to send women back to the kitchen. Our head of state said a few years ago it should be legal for husbands to rape their wives. Especially Gen Z men are really in favor of neo nazism.

Fair enough. I asked the same question about average looking women and got the answer Lena Dunham in Girls Season 1. I think those two would make a believable couple.

Can you please name a male actor or celebrity you would consider average looking for reference? I’m not trying to diminish your opinion, I’m just completely clueless what average means these days.

Most of the arguments made by a lot of men here make a lot more sense if you always remember that they mean hot or at least well above average women when they say women.

True. Most of them become just plain old misogynists who don’t conceptualize their feelings.

Dogpill confirmed.

Depends what you mean when you say for „it“ and „free“. Having sex with women I meet on online platforms who are not my looksmatches and whom I have to offer some form of commitment? Completely possible and free, it was my Modus operandi for a long time. Having sex with attractive and desirable women? Yes, you are right, I have to pay for it.

If you go by the rating scale of /r/truerateme around 6/10 if you are really lucky. But people outside of the Lookism microverse would rate them much higher.

The Pricing sounds ridiculous to me. I’m from Europe and there are plenty of brothels with pretty girls in every major city. But I prefer private escorts. They are often picky and you have to send pictures of your face and your body but I’m young and decent looking so that’s never a problem. Even high class ones rarely take more than 250 Dollar an hour + MSOG.

Not necessarily true. I switched from Tinder/OkCupid to escorts because the maintenance costs of average women became absurd. It’s getting more and more common in countries with good and legal prostitution infrastructure.

This. On the other hand I get really disgusted of the women I meet there on OLD who are actually willing to date me because they are so far below me lookswise. But it’s how you described it. Can’t get no one else.

This is so true. Most women I met over OkCupid have been there for ages and are completely incapable of bonding and having long-lasting emotional relationship. A long history of OLD use is a huge red flag.

Why is everyone talking about the crisis of masculinity and the loneliness epidemic among young men then? First i thought it was just an internet/Reddit thing, then I thought it was an American thing but now even the biggest newspapers and magazines in Germany are writing about it, sociologists are studying it and even my parents are aware of those problems.

Valid point. If we talk about real life dating dynamics you are somewhat right. Most men on this sub like myself are talking about online dating dynamics because that’s where people meet when they have finished college and are not willing to date their coworkers. And the analogy with listed prices and sold prices is valid but doesn’t really work in this sphere because the dynamics have become so skewed. Pretty much the equivalent to the American housing market where you need the double income of…

If women go for their looksmatches there is a high chance that there will be no resentment at all. Only when the relationship is really asymmetrical lookswise men think that they deserve better. Unfortunately the latter is becoming the norm for people who met through online dating.

When imagine a mysterious lone I think more of stoic guy of few words with a hands on mentality. Quite the opposite of the sociable dude who goes out with the female bffs he secretly wanna bang. Both of them are stereotypes of course but I have met them too often in rl.

Not necessarily. If you are a good-looking man you are the mysterious loner. If you are with female friends in a bar but aren’t attractive everyone assumes you are either friend-zoned or just gay.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/24 07:58 AM

You are definitely not from the US or Western Europe then. Women here are a different breed.

Vetting these kind of guys out is a whole process. Fortunately the vetting doesn't take too much effort. A short look on his face and height and you know for certain if his message was hilariously funny and charming or just creepy.

And the first implication he comes up with is incest which you didn't even mention in the first place. Definitely gross.
