National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey (NISVS), run by the CDC. It covers different kinds of rape and violence. If you limit to just penetration, around 20% of women report it in their lifetimes while 1.5% of men do. However, it also includes a category for men, "Made to penetrate" when a man is physically forced to penetrate or drugged to do so. About 8% of men report this as happening. When you include rape + made to penetrate + other sexual violence, the numbers start to become …

We connected the entire world in a social network and then we based all opinions, videos, laws, and ability to progress as a human in that. And we are surprised when the gender literally DESIGNED for being social (bigger eyes, facial expressions, speech centers) starts to flip the world? As men you can't win in that world. The only place we can is in the past. It's gone guys. All we can hope for is a Carrington level event to even the odds.

Mine certainly was. The more liberal the state the faster it breaks.

I make ~$250k a year. Wife waited until I was at peak earning, filed for divorce the day after I signed the loan for her $1100/mo new car. 3 kids, $2400/mo support. 5 years of alimony at $2700/mo. All debt is on me, she got the $900,000 marital home. I fought and fought and fought, $55,000 in court battle fees over two and a half years. Yes. I had a prenup. Yes. It was pulled apart by the courts. No. I did not cheat nor abuse my family. Yes. Marriage as a high earner is a BAD idea. In ten years …

Blocks emotions? Not at all. Gaining emotional intelligence and mastering emotions for your own benefit is not blocking emotions, it's learning them at a deeper level. The complete opposite of your observation.

Alexander absolutely was a stoic. Buddhism and Christianity are life denying because they ask you to give up desire and passion to be happy. Stoicism encourages people to cultivate emotional intelligence, which allows them to identify and use emotions constructively. Stoics believe that by acknowledging and understanding emotions, they can respond to life's challenges with clarity and wisdom. Again, read a book and quit vomiting things you learned in high school.

Stoicism. Plato, Alexander the Great, Marcus Aurelius and his book Meditations. Stoicism as you said it above was the foundation of these famous philosophical thinkers. Read a book my friend. Try The Obstacle Is The Way by Ryan Holiday. It's a good primer for Ego Is The Enemy.

What do you know about Alexander the Great? Because those four words indicate a complete lack of knowledge.

Definitely, good perspective shift to have. I'm just worried the upcoming Thurs 25th hearing on the protection order WILL include the kids. My hope is that it is dismissed. If it is not dismissed and is upheld, I could be separated for 6-12 months by the permanent order. Which means I'll have to wait until things get into circuit court with the divorce before I can enforce visitation. Yes, she absolutely is the kind of person to abuse the kids while also keeping them from seeing me at all.

I'm really shopping. But in Maryland I haven't had any recommendations so I'm just going off of Google reviews. It's not the best.

This was my only marriage, I can honestly say: Never again. I will never, ever, trust this system and I will absolutely teach my children to be wary of it as well.

Thank you, I am blessed that my children are so close to me and they know I will protect them from more of her abuse. They love their mom but are well aware of her bipolar and neurotic behavior. My 8 year old daughter wanted to talk to her mother today, they've been separated for 2 days. Her mother answered the phone half drunk at 2PM on a Saturday at a festival with girlfriends. I had to take the phone and hang up because she was going off at the mouth badly about things and 8 year old shouldn'…

I get it. Mental blocks of this sort are hard to ever overcome. The girl can be smoking hot, but after evil shit like that you don't even see the attractive things anymore. The brain only sees the damage. Don't listen to others, you aren't doing bad, your body is going along with your mind. And what's your caveman mind saying? "Oog, this not good woman for child." And your body is responding accordingly. It's easy to stand back and see curved hips and nice tits and be aroused when you know NOTHI…

This could also tip her off if her coworker runs back to her and tells her what you say. At the least it will close opportunities for you to spy effectively.

Unless you combine the two solutions here in this thread: 1. Vest to almost complete dilution 2. Pay out half the value of 'fully diluted', hopefully as low as possible by that point so you can get it back after.
