Texting is for conveying information and setting up meets. You don't have 'conversations' over text message. If she tries, there is only one response - IGNORE. I think that what he's saying is that the long term effectiveness and safety in humans is not known, CAN'T be known until 2037 at the earliest. This technology holds great promise, in fact I hope it becomes commonplace for guys to get this at puberty, and only have it reversed when THEY want children. Thus giving men equal footing in reproductive rights. But it is definitely something for the next generation, not the current one.
