3	Am I a loser if i dance alone myself? There are a lot of factors at play here if we are talking value. Dancing in and of itself can demonstrate higher or lower value, dont beleive me? So in your case you very well may be a better dancer, in comparision, to your friend. Thus opeing or pulling more sets the first night. The second night your dancing, although not bad, probably was not good enough on its own. Additonally, and more likely factor is because going with a friend helps tremendously.
