13	How To Cut Your Learning Curve In Half - Solve One Step At A Time Good advice for life in general. Often when we hit a roadblock (romantically, professionally, etc) we leave that path behind and try a different path instead of doubling down and focusing on overcoming the obstacle. Not only does this prevent us from reaching our goal, it robs us of the opportunity to learn and grow by overcoming a problem (arguably the best tool for growth). 3	Is it weird that my mom wants to help me get laid? Nice that your Mom cares, but some things you need to do on your own in my opinion. At some point you are supposed to become independent of your parents. For the record, just because your Mom offers you can say no thank you. Some may see this as a sweet gesture from a caring Mom, but I just see over parenting.
