I workout pretty frequently, and when I first started taking it serious I was your age and noticed a big difference. But I’d say do it for yourself, there are a lot of other benefits to working out and putting on muscle. Although, getting girl’s attention because of it is definitely worth it too

I would definitely count gaming/computer software engineering as a hobby! That's dope as fuck. If it's something you choose to do outside school or work that's exactly a hobby You can have more than one hobby too. For example I consider photography, dog training, and cooking to be my hobbies as that is what I do in my free time for fun. I was (and still am in a way) just like you. My parents relationship wasn't very loving so I never saw that interaction between man and woman. And any attempt at a relationship came crashing and burning. I'm still not the best at seduction, but I've noticed such a huge improvement from when I was 20 a few years ago. Big difference. People not just women will subtlety compliment me: "hey you look like you lift" or "carry this, muscles". I'm a humble guy so I usually don't draw attention to it but it definitely boosts my confidence when people mention it, especially women because it means they've noticed my physically.
