The attractiveness threshold for women is lower. Call it sexism, misogyny, the patriarchy--whatever--but women are inherently sexualized and objectified in Western culture. Men are not. That's why. So, yes, by default, women have to do far, far less to be considered sexually attractive. At a societal level, the bar is low for them in that regard.

Marginally few people are willing to dismantle systems they benefit from. For many feminists, they want to dismantle the enforced gender roles that cause them harm or inconvenience--not the ones from which they stand to benefit. That's any group, though, tbh. I think 'Toxic Masculinity' is one of those charged phrases where its implications are not universally applied or accepted--and you have to 'read the room' when you use it.
