I doubt we would see another confession if this was the rule. | -16 | Women who are proven to have lied about rape should be required to register as sex offenders.Sounds good in theory, but it's very very rare that there is evidence that someone lied and even if they lied about a date or time, you can't convict them because they could have just been wrong about the date or time.
