Actually, if you want to know what they would say, they'd tell you that they don't believe woman and children first, but that women are put in that position/treated like children who can't take care of themselves. Even if they don't fully believe what they are saying, it doesn't matter. Anything that potentially could benefit women over men can be explained as a concept of the patriarchy.

Lol, pointing out that guys do something similar doesn't make me female or fat.

Lol, soy being? Stopped reading after you mentioned shaming language. Didn't shame anyone. Simply pointed out that men do the same shit. No reason to continue further. You've been brainwqshed and don't think for yourself. Individuals who use such terms unitonically are fully indoctrinated and not willing to listen.

To be fair, you think when guys left swipe on a fat woman they show regret, remorse, or thought? Doubtful!

Just so you know, you can cut a diamond in half an infinite number of times and therefore have infinite leftovers. Literally end world hunger right there.

Unfortunately it's because they can have those standards. I know we like to think about the wall as some kind of justice, but even women past the wall with kids find a partner. Sometimes even a good looking one.

And what do they usually say in response? I'm sure a lot of insults, but some have to genuinely respond?

I still have dating apps because I am a masochist. I'm roughly average looking, maybe a little above average when I lose some more weight, have about 30 lbs left to go. Anyway, she just made me think about why I don't go to events like this. Most men know they stand no chance in the dating market. Why even show up?

Wonder how long the radical feminism will last in 20 years or so when the dysfunctional single mother household kids grow up and are unable to be productive members of society. Things look bleak now but when the US stops being wealthy and shit really hits the fan...as in grocery stores no longer regularly stocked, value of dollar is shit...women will likely fall back into more traditional values. But I'm not an economist and there's many moving pieces so honestly one can only speculate. Things c…

Fat is not healthy. Still, I empathize with this woman because I myself am overweight (though trying to lose it and already down 14 lbs, like 25-35 ish to go for healthy weight). I think she needs to be honest with herself and realize that while there are no dating police, most people do not find being overweight (or obese) attractive. Some might...and they might be in shape, but it's rare. She either needs to make an attempt to lose weight or come to the realization that she is free to not choo…

You're just projecting your biases about people who "defend" women on the internet. First off, I'm not even really "defending" women? I'm pointing out that logically it really doesn't make sense...this whole mentality I keep seeing of how a ton of guys just want to hump and dump and then say things like you shouldn't marry a girl who hooks up with men. So which is it? Do you want women to be sexual or not? I often hear people say to women, "you're single because you didn't put out" and also say …

Never understood this reasoning. If guys don't want women who have one nigbt stands, then how about guys stop having one night stands with women? Just seems a lot like if someone complains that there are no more women who are virgins to marry but he spends his free time deflowering women in hookups on the side. Kind of contributing to your own problem, no? Seems a bit like a double standard to me and hypocritical...many of the things we mock women for here. "I don't date women who hook up with m…

It depends on the relationship. Any marriage and family therapist will tell you that it may be impossible to reconcile issues in a marriage and so divorce could still be an outcome. She probably had made up in her mind already in his friend's case.

And if they like someone who only wants to pump and dump, then what? Should she hold out sex until she vets him more? Then she would be making a post about how he broke up with her because of the lack of sex, and people here would be saying women need to put out if they want a relationship. The reality is that the degeneracy of women is perpetuated by the guys who feel the need to hump and dump.

Couldn't this just mean men have no inherent value other than what they can give society and women? I mean it's a sad realization but it is a biological truth especially when it comes to reproduction. It's been shown that individuals prefer female faces and voices in general to males. Can't it be that men just aren't attractive in general? Sure, women have high standards too, but this just makes me wonder what value to men there actually is for us? Society panders to women because society cares …

Because most women are not infertile. At least not to statt out with. We are also social creatures, and crave human comfort (some more than others). Human romantic bonds do exist sometimes. I hear what you're saying though.

If men were the prize, why are we the ones who do the courting? It's because men aren't the prize. We shoot seed and then go. This is why men aren't the prize and when people look favorably at women. They carry babies.

Very true, but wouldn't men do the same thing if they were able to? This might get a lot of hate, but I guarantee if men were the gender that's pursued and wanted for their looks/fertility and everything was reversed...men would act the exact same. Or at least a lot of men would, but there'd be some who would settle down the way the few good women do.

I find posts on this subreddit hilarious, but a lot of people here are a bit clueless about fertility. Some make it sound like after 30 it's super hard and the risk or defects skyrockets. This is just not true on either front. That being said, it takes a lot of energy being a parent so it can be harder on those 40+ then if they're 25
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen13/01/19 06:26 PM

I can't exactly say that's a good trade off. If you were female would you trade your body for rent or actively put yourself in a dangerous situation like that? Harder for males to find rooms for sure but at the same time it's pretty disgusting the lengths some males will go to for sex.

Just so you know, having a strong positive reaction to your therapist is a normal therapeutic reaction in individual therapy, so this doesn't necessarily mean they are having sex. He probably wouldn't risk his license for that. That being said, definitely would be worth-while bringing it up in couples' session. -Edit- That being said, it does happen from time to time, though it is unethical, obviously.

Find a different therapist, perhaps one who is more active in therapy? Alternatively, there are group therapies that can probide equal or better results depending on presenting issues..

I actually asked this of a 21 year old on OKC. I said that I find it strange whenever a large number of people believe the same things, and asked her why she thinks there are so many liberal women 18-35 (78% if i recall correctly, as of some poll). She blocked me, of course, but not before saying something like why is it weird that everyone believes in what is right?

How can you say that when plenty of ugly men who have money date hot women? Also, I hear the "personality doesn't matter" argument get thrown around a lot here, but id that's true then why do you sometimes see ugly men with no money be successful with women? I suppose it doesn't matter if you choose to go MGTOW either way, but I just see a lot of talking points being made sometimes when it literally is not the case the majorith of the time.

This gonna make you mad, but this is what feminists mean when they talk about privilege. Men don't have to think about it or consider it because for the most part, it's not a part of their lives. If only more feminists would acknowledge their own privileges in society, makes it easier to just realize we are all human. Makes it easier to not get angry at things.

I mean, there is such a thing as tact. There's a big difference between saying "She's cheating on you. I suggest looking into ending the relationship." And what you said. Both convey the same message, but yours was inflammatory, crude, and insulting to someone you don't even know. Do you honestly believe it was just for "telling the truth?"

I know you believe attitude means nothing, but it really does. You're angry and have deep instilled beliefs. Would you find an angry feminist who rants to you about male privilege attractive? The answer is no. Maybe you would at first, but after sex, then what? Relationships involve meaningful connection. You should reflect on this. This will get downvoted because of where we are, but I hope you realize that lookism is a two way street. Often times shallow guys go for shallow girls. You have age…

Regardless of what some people online will say, therapy can help you figure out things about yourself and what's important to you. So? Men have to stick their penis in someone for that to happen. They do this knowing they can get railroaded if they do. They actively do it knowing the potential consequences. They want their cake and the ability to eat it to. Ironically, this is what a lot of women get accused of on this sub. Almost as if we are all human or something. It's fine though, I know the downvotes will rain. Just like if I pointed out the holes in the "logic" on a feminist subreddit, I'd get downvoted too. Both plac…

False. You currently are aware of the laws in place. You are aware of your current rights or lack there of. If you make the active choice to engage in sex while being aware of those laws then it's the same as signing up for a credit card that's a bad deal.

Men are conditioned and have a deep intern drive/desire to take of and be around women. Controlling their finances in the manner and degree to which you are speaking seems about as likely of happening as men not wanting sex from women. Part of human nature is wanting to get validation from women, be kind to them, and take care of them.

If she went to craigslist or places like it and posted a picture saying she just wants to have sex, guarantee you in a day she would have her inbox flooded. I'm not saying those are good options, but they are options. Do the same as a male. Even if you're average looking you probably will only get spam. Women don't hate non chads. In fact, I've found that many of them are sympathetic to them and feel bad for them...but that doesn't mean they will consider dating them. I've noticed people here are confused about what a fuckboy is. A fuckboy is not someone that women always go for for sex, that's Chad. A fuckboy is someone who is super thirsty, sends her dick pics, and just always makes it obvious they want to have sex and that's it.
